Girls trip for mother's Day
Posted May 17, 2024 on HomeAwayInside the house was very nice and clean. Beds were okay. Outside could use a little cleaning up and some newer furniture. Pool was nice and hot tub okay.

Less is not always more

The number of rooms was great for our 7 people great for small families, house was clean and adequate room space amenities of laundry and supplies great adequate parking, outdoor patio space sufficient and overall host was very cooperative and available at all times. We were able to check in early for a small fee and check out late was a plus.
Cons
The neighborhood is a little less to desire, keypad sometimes for unlocking and locking didn’t work
AC was difficult to use but host always intervened and assisted, inadequate supplies only 1 roll of paper towels 2 trash bags only, no instruction manual for house, pictures of pool was not accurate and pool was dirty upon arrival, supplies utensils and cups for coffee were scarce only 4 for our group of 8; dining table only sat 4 at a time. Flooring is warped in two places in kitchen area.

Pretty nice
Posted Apr. 7, 2024 on HomeAwayIt was in an older neighborhood but nice. It was great to be able to drive right up to the front door. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean. Shower and tub were both slick when they were wet, so be careful of that. We didn’t use the dishwasher. As soon we opened it, we had a horrible smell come out of it. It was pretty nice. Would probably stay there again.

Great family trip to Las Vegas!
Posted Jan. 13, 2024 on HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay very much! The house was nicely set up with everything needed. It was clean. The yard was nice. The house is close to the Strip and Fremont Street, but not too close. The neighborhood was quiet and had all the necessary stores nearby. The 4 bedrooms and 2 baths were large enough and the beds were quite comfortable. We would stay again. My only suggestion would be to add some clothes hooks in the bathrooms.

Nice location in town

Quick answering from the host when required.
Some improvements could be included like a dorm door fix, and maybe at the house entrance a printed quick list of instructions about the amenities, a detailed clean because dust was present at the dorm doors.

Visiting family in the area
Posted Dec. 30, 2023 on HomeAwayThe house was clean, beds were comfy, and it was all the space we needed. We didn’t use the pool as it was December, but the backyard was nice (however, there was dog poop in the back from a previous guest that had not been picked up).
I would have like to get check-in instructions a little sooner and never did get any specific instructions for checkout.

The listing was slightly deceiving
Posted Dec. 6, 2023 on HomeAwayThe location was not close to the strip: 30 minute drive. The floors were very dirty. I vacuumed when we arrived but couldn’t find anything to mop the floors. (There was a swiffer wet but no pads). Only one tiny bath mat was provided between the two bathrooms. The linens smelled clean but there were no sheets, just a fitted sheet and a comforter. But like I said the comforter smelled fresh and seemed clean. The backyard was overgrown with weeds and a bit of trash and there was backyard construction on both neighboring properties. Nothing you can do about it but just trying to give an idea of what the neighborhood was like. The kitchen was in good shape and had most everything you would need except a water filter. Even a brita filter would have been a helpful addition.

Hi Carrie, I'm sorry you felt this way. The strip is huge so travel time can vary depending on where you go. I assure you the time it takes to drive from my home to MGM Grand is only 15 minutes without traffic. I would have happily told you where to find them in the closets had I known that you needed Swiffer pads. Hotels normally provide sheets in between the bed and comforter because they do not wash the comforters but we wash the comforters and the duvets (comforter covers) for every single stay so sheets are not necessary. I'll be sure to share the feedback about the floors, bath mat and yard with my housekeeper. That is unacceptable and will be corrected. I'm ordering a brita filter for the house because your feedback is great and we take it all very seriously. Thank you.

Wedding stay
Posted Oct. 19, 2023 on HomeAwayLoved the house. Very cute. Backyard was great. Check in was easy and communication was good.
Did not find any dishcloths/towels or sponges to clean in the kitchen. Bought Clorox wipes. Dishwasher almost fell out when opened.
Also it was stated pool would be closed for season. It wasn’t when we got there. Disappointing as we didn’t bring swimming suits. Also no gas in grill. Backyard was messy-yard waste, pipes, and garbage.

Thank you for your feedback -- I will absolutely share this with my housekeeper to make sure everything is good for the future. I'm glad you enjoyed the house and yard otherwise. The pool is open and available until end of November this year.
