The front desk staff was very rude and put out that we had questions about luggage transfer. It was very inconvienient that no one was there after 5pm since we got in late and planned to leave early. We had no one to help us with some questions and to make some plans. The room was beautiful but the bed was hard and the coffee maker in the lobby was broken.

Paradise on earth. Wengen was my favorite town in this area. This hotel has a beautiful view of the mountains from the room balcony. The room was clean comfortable and spacious. It was an absolutely perfect stay. The staff gave us advice on activities, the breakfast was wonderful and everyone was really friendly, which is so comforting when you're far from home. The location of the hotel was perfect about 2-10 minute walk from all transport, shopping or dining. Traveler tip- we expected the area to be cold based on forecasts, but it was sunny and warm (except at some mountain peaks), bring a pair of shorts even if you think you won't need them, and sunscreen!

Wonderful stay at Schonegg Hotel

Delighted to have chosen Schonegg Hotel for our stay in Wengen. The best thing about our room was the sunny terrace onto a snowed patch! Loved it! Very nice restaurant. Everybody super friendly. Picked us up at train station.
