Our annual family snowmobile trip

Surprise Visitor
Publié le 23 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayProperty was great lots of stairs. Three night and morning we woke up bull elk bulging. One was within 20 feet of cabin it was perfect stay.

Well we tried to chase those elk out of the yard but it's getting harder all the time.

Wonderful Place

The house was awesome and the deer that frequented the meadow were fun to watch off the deck while relaxing after a day on the trails! Thank you Greg for providing a wonderful house for our Family Vacation! Everything about the home and property was perfect!

Needs Improvement
Publié le 11 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis cabin is in a beautiful setting but there were some concerns during our stay. When our group was out 4 wheeling for the day, we had the doors locked, all lights off, everything was shut off and checked before we left. At our return, we found the TV on and the living room lights on. I texted Greg to ask him if he's been in the cabin and he never did respond. Creepy! We did not ever turn the TV on while we were there. We know someone had been in there while we were gone. The grill on the deck was totally shot and rusted out and small. If I could put a picture on this review, you would be shocked! The wooden chairs on the deck were rough and paint was peeling and almost gone. The main floor mattress was in good condition but the one in the loft sagged in the middle and the downstairs mattresses were quite worn as well. When you walked into the lower level to get in the cabin, it smelled very musty and old. Also be aware going into the main door. The carport has 2 by 6 short cut boards as a floor that are loose and will flip up and could trip you. When I contacted the owner about a shortage of wash clothes, he claimed there was enough and suggested that I cut up a towel to use if we needed more. Parking space for trailers was excellent.

The fist thing I would like to say is that Sheila left the house in good shape, no problems there. BUT --Sheila had problems from the get go. She contacted me about --- Can't find steak knives, can't find enough wash cloths, may need more toilet paper.--- I got back with her that the steak knives were right on the counter in the knife block, that there were enough wash cloths in the bathroom cabinets ( when I checked on this when I arrived after they left there were two washcloths unused in the cabinets), instructed here that if they needed extra supplies they could get them out of the store room. The grill worked fine for a group of 10 young guys just after Sheilas stay. As to the lights being on and tv on when they returned a light is can be let on during the day and not noticed until it is dark . The tv has a roku stick and can be left on by accident and later activate . The only people with keys to the house are me, the cleaning lady and the guests. If Sheila tryed to contact me by text I did not get it, I would have got back with her if I had. ---- I saw that Sheila joined VRBO recently and does not have a rating. --Please look at our other reviews. --- Greg Gunderson
