Thank you for the good review. We appreciate when guests inform us of any issues that can be addressed during the stay. Our water heater is set to the standard 120 degrees required by our certified technician.

Peaceful

Decent little cabin for a low price
Publié le 22 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall I was satisfied with my stay. I got what I expected considering what I paid for it compared to the prices nearby.
There are only 2 reasons I did not give a 5 star:
- There was no way to lock the door from the inside except using the key panel (which owners would have access). The deadbolt/chain were removed/disabled. This made me uneasy, so I would likely not stay again for this reason.
- The shower was awful. Not a deal breaker for a 5 star considering the price, but had to mention 'cause I hated it so bad.

Thank you for your review. This is why we ask our guests to contact us with any concerns they may have, because this could have been easily rectified by putting a dead bolt to make you feel less uneasy about your stay. However, as with any property even hotels, the owner has access in case of an emergency. A dead bolt would only have effect if you are in the cabin, as you can not deadbolt it upon your departure, but we would have gladly put one in for you to feel more safe! We have never had a complaint about our shower in the Hondo, so this is a first. I will be reaching out to understand why you hated it so much as it is just a normal sized shower with tub. We take guest satisfaction very seriously, which is why we ask that guest reach out, any time of day, with any concerns. If we do not know what the problem is, we have no chance to correct your concerns. Other than the above issues, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay overall and do hope you give us a chance to host your next stay!

Quiet place convenient to state park and to local restaurants.
Publié le 3 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were the only guests in the complex until the end of our stay. It was clean, peaceful, and convenient to stores, restaurants, and Garner State Park. Lots of space to walk the dogs without getting on the highway.
