Big Family Cabin on the River's Edge

River front family friendly lodge. Can accommodate up to 8 people. 4 Bedrooms, each with pillow top king size beds, Murphy Queen bed in screened in porch plus bunk area that has a 3 twin beds. Full screened in porch with ping pong table. Outside fire pit on the river's edge! Step down to a wide beach right on the water. The lodge also has a covered hot tub, wide porch deck large enough for eating meals outside if desired. 60"' LCD SMART TV in the living room with DVD and VCR. Oversized master bedroom has a 42" TV, with extra seating area for reading or just watching the river. Living room has 3 "nap worthy" couches large enough for family gatherings. Fully stocked kitchen with all you need to prepare family meals. Expandable dining room table seats 10 persons. Washer and Dryer also included in Lodge.

Please note that the nightly rate shown is an average nightly rate, and our rates fluctuate seasonally. Additionally, the base rate is for 4 guests. Each additional guest thereafter is $20.00 per night per guest.

There is a Snow Park nearby as well as Fish Lake known for well... its fish. The Lodge is located close to the small town of Plain and its little hardware store. Lake Wenatchee is a short 3 mile drive offering sledding, camping, horseback riding and golf. You are close to Stevens Pass and Leavenworth with its outdoor theater, food, shopping and many festivals. The property covers 2 1/2 acres with walking/hiking trails all around.

Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for two, or a large family vacation, the River's Edge provides a warm and comfortable setting for your next memory making adventure!

This is truly a magical place and a perfect “snow cabin” for our family getaway. We had snowfall our first night, and then sunshine and bluebird skies for the rest of our stay. My grandkids loved the snow people and castle, making snow angels, and watching the icicles grow each day. Location was perfect, private but close enough to amenities.Trae did a fabulous job of communicating, especially with the local weather issues. There was plenty of room for everyone, lots of games to play, and the kitchen was extremely well stocked—including a hot chocolate bar.Lots of special moments and great memories to take home. Third time staying here and we truly love it every single time. This beautiful riverside cabin works so well for our family; the four king beds are amazing, and everyone was comfortable. Spending Christmas here together is always so special for us. We even got snow on Christmas Day with big, beautiful snowflakes and the peaceful sound of the river in the background which made it feel extra magical.The kitchen has everything you need and the house is decorated super cozy with a true cabin vibe, and mornings with coffee looking out at the river were my favorite. There’s also a sun porch we never get to use since we usually come at Christmas time, but I can imagine it would be amazing in the summer too. The river views are beautiful, especially when the sun starts to set in the afternoon.We had such a great time being cozy, celebrating Christmas, and just being together as a family. Smit and Trae are wonderful hosts and very quick to respond if you need anything. This is our third stay here and we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

We just finished with a great stay at this place. I don't think I've ever seen a better stocked kitchen. There was lots of room for 8 people. The game room was great. The beds were also really comfortable. We're definitely keeping this on our short list of places to stay.

Summer at Rivers Edge

Large mountain style home with lots of privacy. We stayed in July when it was warm and utilized fans with open windows and it was fine without ac. Reivers Edge has a very large kitchen which is very well supplied. Plenty of towels and beach towels and lots of dog supplies. I only wished we had brought tubes to float down the river here in front of the house. We did a tube float out of Levenworth and the river was quite crowded with tubers, however we occasionally saw people floating by the house in tubes and on paddlebaords.

Beautiful home nestled up to the Wenatchee

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay for three nights at this beautiful home. It fit our group of eight just right! The layout downstairs with the adjoining game room allowed is too enjoy some nice home cooked meals, board games, NBA Finals, rock painting, and reading. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, flatware, appliances, etc. Outside, the hot tub was just right, the deck, patio, and chairs made for relaxed hanging out, and there was easy access to the walk out to the river. There was a fire ban on place, so we didn't get to enjoy the fire pit, but there is one there for the right season. The main bedroom upstairs is about half of that floor, more like a studio suite than a bedroom. Our bed was very comfortable, and I believe that was the sentiment all around. Leavenworth was a 30 minute drive away in one direction, and Lake Wenatchee about 10 minutes the other. We did not plan enough time at the lake, so that's on our radar for next time. And the Lord willing there will be a next time! Smit and Trae were very attentive hosts, responding well when we reached out. Overall, it was worth every penny, and it was a great blessing to enjoy this home by the river.

Amazing get a way

We wanted a relaxing getaway for Family to come into town and celebrate our oldest daughter’s high school graduation. This cabin was exactly that -a way to escape the chaos and enjoy the time together. The cabin was quiet and peaceful. Right on the river, an amazing view. It had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked. We had plenty of towel towels. Lots of entertainment from ping-pong, board games to puzzles. Chairs to sit around outside plenty of seating inside. A huge table that fit all eight of us a kitchen that was large enough for us all to be in and never feel cramped. Having two master bedrooms allowed for extra adult space. All the beds were comfortable. We had an amazing time.

Winter wonderland

This property is absolutely gorgeous. Million dollar views all around. The home is just as described. The owners are extremely accomodating and have excellent communication skills. The home is stocked with just about everything you would have at home and more. The game room is awesome! We loved our 4 day stay and cant wait to come back in the future. We're already planning a summer stay!

A slice of winter heaven!

This property was loved by us all and after a 5 day stay we lamented that it was over especially the 4 & 7 year olds. No time in this magical cabin would be long enough. The view was unbeatable and so peaceful, the location private and the home had everything-a well stocked kitchen, comfy rooms and the cleanest space we’ve ever stayed in. Kudos to the cleaning crew and to owners Smit and Trae for the opportunity to stay in their lovely home.

Another wonderful trip to Leavenworth and Christmas lighting in town. River's Edge Family Cabin is the best for getting together with family and friends, and to make so many great memories! Lots of room for all with lots of activities inside and outside! Kitchen has plenty of room and is well stocked to enjoy many fun meals together!
