Slow Breakfast
Rooms need some TLC, breakfast service was ridiculously slow despite there only being 9 people in the restaurant took over half an hour to order my breakfast, way too slow.
Wonderful stay as always! Particularly amazing service from Sharon - she made us feel so welcome. It’s a shame that it’s closing for a year for the refurb, fingers crossed it’s not too different.

Leeds city break
Great breakfast, quirky hotel, good location being very convenient for the city centre. Friendly staff.
Only down side was some noise late at night from people leaving the brewery wharf opposite.
Would stay again.
We have stayed here many times over the past few years and I'm sorry to say the hotel is begining to look a little tired now.
The service as always remains top notch, although small things such as a drink on arrival are no longer a thing.
The hotel and rooms are clean, but fixtures and fittings looking tired and drab and in need of a good refurbish.
As soon as you walk in it looks like a beautiful art museum. But when you past the front of house and walk through the hallway to your room there is a damp smell,
My first room had some type of what looks like a part of an old train made out of iron hanged on tbe ceiling with a metal hook hanging from it supported by rope. This was very offputting almost disturbing for it to be the first thing see when you wake up.
The ground was un even, the "Kingsize bed" was really two SPRING single matresses put together. This was very uncomfortable.
The next day my room

Pleasant stay.
Pleasant enough hotel. Great location for shopping and public transport. Lovely room. Main let down was the homeless camp across the river where a couple were screaming at each other for 5 hours on Sunday night. Most staff were really good but a few need more training in hospitality skills.
Good location, very impressed by the view of the river. The hotel had a lot of nice touches which we appreciated, i.e. home made fudges, bathrobes in all the rooms, etc etc. and the staff were very helpful and efficient.
