The apartment has 4 bedrooms: one with double bed, one with 2 beds, 2 with three beds.The double-bed room has also a little bed for a baby. From the house you can acceed directly to the garden, where you can rest sitting under the shadow of two big trees. If you want to stay at the sun, you will find a good place on the superior part of the garden, where you can also see the sea..
A little green space near the kitchen gives you the chance to eat in the open air, on a big wood table.
The house is situated near the historical center of the ancient ligurian village of Levanto, in a very quiet location, with a view on the private garden and the country behind the house. the house takes the place of the ancient palace Da Passano, destroyed by the bombs in the Second World War. You can still see some pieces of the ancient building.
Not far from the house you can visit the ancient church of Saint James.
On the other side of the village, very interesting is the church of Saint Andrew and the genoese Castle.
The village has coloured houses, as used in the ancient villages of Liguria.
With train or boat you can easily reach the wonderful Cinque Terre.
In less than 100 chilometres you can reach the interesting cities of Genua, Pisa, Parma and Lucca, rich of important museums and monuments.

A wonderful holiday relaxing with friends.

A beautiful airy roomy old style apartment in an ancient area of town. The apartment has enough privacy between rooms to share with another family. The garden was cool and beautiful (it is technically shared with the other occupants of the building but we never saw anyone)

Week in Levanto

We enjoyed the property, which worked well for our group of 7. It was fairly represented. Our only issue, which did not affect our satisfaction was communication. After checking in we had some questions about use and some supply issues. Each time we called whoever answered indicated they only spoke Italian and hung up. The second number asked that we text, which we did. He responded once and brought an extra key, but never again. We got by and handled ourselves, but would have appreciate better response

Neglected property, beautiful grounds and location, disappointing owner response.

A lot of potential, disappointing owner response. Check in was confusing partly due to language barrier. We arrived to a busy public parking lot and weren’t sure where to wait for the manager. After unloading the permanent parking lot was about .25 miles from the apartment. The main complaint is upon arrival the “luxury apartment” was musty and damp. Furnishings were in disarray, slipcovers…not the ones in the pictures were dirty, torn and stained. There was scaffolding in front of 3 windows and blocking access to the outside dining table off the kitchen. The floors had been swept but not mopped. When I contacted the owner regarding my concerns they were completely disregarded. Even my request to send someone to mop the floor.

Amazing location, lots of space with a nice garden. Lots of beds and bathrooms. Large dining table and living room. Well equiped kitchen with a good stove and oven. Would recommend the day boat trip to the Cinque Terre, a walk to the beach in Bonassola and the fish restaurant at the corner...

Very characterful large apartment a very short walk away from a bustling town and a great beach

This appartment is fascinating. It must have been built in the 1920s or 1930s in an art deco style, with some of the original features of that period still there: amazing marble floors, an art deco mirror in the hallway, ceiling pendants, old artefacts molded into the wall outside the main entrance to the appartment and an art deco bannister to the stairs leading to the appartment. The appartment also retains the original layout with a separate entrance (locked) for the kitchen and a bedroom beside it, presumably for a live-in made, with the main entrance opening into the hallway and magnificent main room and then large bedrooms. These mean that the appartment retains some of its original 1920s elegance, with a magnificent balcony over the private courtyard at the front, a private garden accessible, and high ceilings and thick walls that kept the temperature in the appartment down during a heatwave. The appartment's location is also great. It's quiet but a very short walk from the bustling town centre of Levanto and the beach. The station is also a 15-minute walk away, with easy access to the Chinque Terre and Pisa beyond that. The appartment also has lots of space. We visited as a family of five and there was more than enough room for more people than that. We had a great stay - thank you!

Beautiful apartment

Wery well located in Levanto. You can easily walk the beach, shopping and good restaurants around the corner. 10 min walk to the railway station. The appointment is in wonderful Italian style with a lot of space. Big living room with beautiful furniture, four good bedrooms, three well working bathrooms. The kitchen is a bit used and could be more modern, but all works well. We enjoyed our holiday :)

Excellent location apartment in need of maintanence

The apartment is located in the historic centre of lovely Levanto very close to the beautiful beach. Stores and restaurants are nearby. Although the owner was nice and rapidly answered our messages, the caretaker never answered our phonecalls and the people giving us the keys knew nothing about the apartment.The apartment is spacious and the bedrooms were clean . The bathrooms were not clean though and are in severe need for restoration. The sitting area outside the bedroom was occupied by broken outdoor furniture and the one next to the kitchen was overgrown and occupied by the neighbours garbish. The Bell tower located next to the house sounds every 15 minutes so bring earplugs if you have sensitive sleep. We would love to come back to Levanto but would then look for another apartment.

Lovely apartment,lovely town.

The apartment in Levanto was lovely and cool in the heat of the day,kitchen very well equipped and Levanto was a perfect town to spend a week in.To be staying only a few minutes from the shady square,from the beach and from good restaurants and shops was a pleasure.My family and I would recommend this place.

Wow, what an awesome place

We loved this very large apartment tucked right in the historic area of Levanto. The bedrooms were large with plenty of large windows to catch the evening breeze. We enjoyed the large living area space as well as a huge table for sharing meals and playing games. Very close by were grocery stores, bakeries, and many restaurants. Levanto is a beautiful community, the train station is close by that grant you access to all the communities in the Cinque Terre national park.

Great location with plenty of space.

Our group of two families including 4 adults and 6 children (6,7,9,10,11,11) stayed here for 10 days. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. We had coffee on the patio attached to the kitchen every morning and wine on the balcony each evening. The views of the city and surrounding hills are mesmerizing. The exterior walls of the apartment are original castle walls that the kids (and I) totally got a kick out of. The walk to the beach is less than 5 minutes, far closer than we anticipated. We spent a good amount of time on the public beaches which were plenty spacious enough for our group. The biggest drawback is the small kitchen, but that is the case with most Italian kitchens. The bedrooms, living room and bathrooms are quite spacious. We walked to the Cinque Terre trail that leads to Monterosso within 10 minutes from the apartment. The walk to and from the train station is also quite manageable and we did it several times. If you're looking for a spacious apartment with access to public transportation and lots of outdoor activities, this is a perfect place to stay.

Wonderfull place in historic environment

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious apartment with lovely garden adjacent to the medieval wall. A quiet place while you are in the middle of Levanto. It is well equiped even if you stay with a large group. We really loved to be there, but a few things should be replaced or repaired. Instructions about the heating, warm water and working of the tv would be helpfull. The only minus was that there was no wifi.

Wir waren schon zum 2.Mal in dieserWohnung. Sie ist wunderbar, sehr gut gelegen, und eine schöne sehr große Altbauwohnung. Alles was man braucht ist da. Man kann draußen auf der Terrasse frühstücken und auf dem Balkon draußen sitzen und lesen. Das Städtchen ist sehr schön und sehr freundlich. Mittlerweile auch touristischer als früher, aber immer noch mit einembesonderen Charme.

Flott leilighet i nydelig herskapsbolig

Denne leiligheten fungerte veldig bra som utgangspunkt for Cinque Terre besøk, med en kort togreise til alle landsbyene. Det er også mulig å ta ferge fra Levanto. Dette er en litt større by enn de 5 små, og har mer å by på av aktiviteter og restauranter, og med en flott strand. Leiligheten fungerte veldig bra for 4 vennepar på tur sammen. Noen tidligere anmeldelser klager på klokketårnet rett i nærheten, som slår hvert kvarter. Vi syntes ikke dette var plagsomt.

Appartement un peu vieillot mais, propre, vaste et bien situé. Un plus avec le parking privé, la fourniture des draps et serviettes de toilette. Le choix de Levanto nous a parfaitement convenu et nous a permis de découvrir les Cinque Terre, à pied, en bateau et avec le train !Et c'est très beau mais il faut avoir de bonnes jambes !A recommander
