For the price, I expected a nicer room. The shower is not made for anyone over 5'5". I am 5'3" and still had to lean my head back to soak my hair. The sink wouldn't drain. The tub felt like there was a film in it. I actually slipped and fell in the tub. I've never done that in my entire life. The checkout staff was not very nice when a concern about a parking charge was brought to her attention. She laughed at me for not being familiar with the parking situation. I am from a rural area and have not used a parking lot like the one provided by the hotel. The location was great and convenient for the concert. There is a catwalk between the hotel and Rupp Arena that made getting back to my room a pleasant experience. My room faced the lobby and it was so loud for hours after the show. The beds were comfortable and appeared to be clean. Overall, the experience was fine but not anywhere close to my top hotel experiences.

The room was below standard for a Hyatt. Walpaper peeling off the wall... but also other smalish things that added up to a bad experience given we had many choices at the price point. One example, we had to fight to get free parking. We were told you changed your policy but your website still says "free self parking".

Parking - Awful experience as one of the valets popped my trunk and removed several expensive bottles of bourbon. All the hotel did so far is waive my valet fee, but they did say they would review available video camera footage.
