The farm is situated in a very quiet and private location yet only minutes from the Virginia Horse Center and from downtown Lexington, home to the Virginia Military Institute and Washington & Lee University. The farm is also located only one quarter mile from the "New Field Farm at Timber Ridge" event venue. Enjoy walking the farm fields and woodland trails. Horse boarding facilities are available. You are welcome to bring bicycles.

We loved our stay at this beautiful property with sweeping views of the Rockbridge hills and Blue Ridge mountains. Doris and Dennis are such generous hosts, and we had so much fun meeting the horses and Jake! The apartment is so cozy and had everything we needed. This is an amazing property! Once we turned off the main highway, we realized that this was the perfect location for our stay in Lexington. It is a beautiful property, peaceful environment , with two hospitable and attentive hosts. Daily we encountered deer, and once a flock of wild turkey. The mountains in the distance are remarkable!
