Un excellent hotel très confortable au charme typique anglais: fauteuils club, un grand lit XL au matelas très épais, j'ai dormi comme jamais. Restauration sur place servie en chambre. Salle dez bain luxueuse avec douche et baignoire, de quoi se détendre après un long voyage... Tout ça pour le prix d'un hotel bas de gamme en France... Merci hotels.com pour ses réductions importantes.

I booked an overnight stay as a surprise for my Mums 82nd birthday. We have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past and it is a favourite of hers. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. The only slight disappointment was that the jacuzzi was out of action but the rest of our stay made up for it.

Very shaby

Arrived at the bentley hotel and parked no problem, checked in, went to the room and the keys didn't work so reception gave us new ones which worked, went into the room to find the bed only double but we booked a king size. Then find out that king is same as double here, felt abit mislead by the booking. Very basic room but the bed was comfy. Breakfast was nice, very helpful waitress. The spa area needs alot of work and tlc it's very old and dirty, the sauna was too hot and is tiny, the jacuzzi was broken and the pool freezing. I think it's way over priced compared to other four star hotels we have stayed in recently, the Leonardo for example is alot cheaper and you get alot more for your money. I wouldn't stay here again.

A did a job hotel

The room did a job and was comfy enough. Hotel technology was dated but functional (despite the noises the lift made!) Room service and meals were fine although side of chips for one meal felt like a quick microwave job rather than actually cooked, but the pizza alongside it was lovely. Staff friendly and nice. Biggest issue was the hotel pool and spa. It was advertised as open but two days before my booking i received a message to say the facilities were limited. I sent a message to the hotel asking for clarification on what this entailed and received no reply. When i arrived on site i asked at reception and was told the pool and sauna were working but the jacuzzi was out of action. This seemed ok but when i visited the pool it was clear work was still going on behind the scenes as well as in the jacuzzi with staff and contractors walking through to look at and review the work progress. This meant the pool side and changing facilities were covered in various marks and sign of the work going on. The last element was a sign as you exited the changing room to the pool which said due to work the pool temperature was lower than normal. In real terms this meant there was no heating in the pool or the pool area. Not a great swimming/spa experience :(

Look for another hotel.

I think this hotel is only surviving due to the Best Western name being associated with it. The outside looks very 80s and that is echoed on the inside. The rooms itself was comfortable enough although they seem to have a serious issue with the plumbing. The cold tap produced warm water for a period of time before stopping altogether. I tried to have a shower, but given the previous statement about the cold water running hot, the only water that come out of the shower was either scalding hot or just a dribble. I think my room was located near the gym as I had to listen to the thumping of someone running on a treadmill while trying to get to sleep. The room also overlooked the main road into Lincoln and as such, I was woken up several times in the night due to traffic noise. The food in the restaurant was also poor. I had a potato thing for starters and the potatoes were dry inside. The Chicken Korma I had for the main course, despite being the size of a child's portion, was one of the blandest and most tasteless meals I can remember. It is very rare that I ever find the need to add seasoning to a meal, but this "curry" required a number of applications of salt to add flavour. It's safe to say, that I would never stop in this hotel again.

We are sorry to hear your stay was not enjoyable. We have currently undergone some refurbishment since your stay, especially in the Leisure Club and the Restaurant is about to change into a Mediterranean Restaurant. Also a new Boiler for the water heating. Next on the agenda is the Bedrooms. We do hope in the future you may decide to visit us again so we can hopefully give you a superior experience.

Staff friendly and helpful on arrival, room was clean, bathroom a little worn. Pillows hard (but that's just my preference) Disappointed pool was too cold to use and jacuzzi was not working. Food in the restaurant was very nice. Room and corridor doors could do with being fitted with soft close or something, individuals returning to their room between 12 and 1.30am. Hotel cant control guests being loud on the way back to their room but the bang of the doors made it impossible to sleep through.

I couldn't fault anything about my stay here.

Excellent customer service and friendly staff. I was informed the pool area was undergoing refurbishment but could still be used albeit a little cold.I had use of the gym and spa if required. The room was bigger than expected (bonus) very clean. The bathroom was spotless with plenty of towels and the shower was poweful and hot. I had the best nights sleep in a long time in the most comfortable bed. There was the option of using the restaurant or bar area for food if required or room service was available, all at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again.
