Out of the way a bit from Lincoln and we found the condition of the place somewhat under what the pictures seem to imply. Still a nice place for one day or so.

Washingborough Hall - a delight!

Warm rooms, wood burner in the reception area, comfortable king size bed, quality bathroom furnishings, albiet with a wonderful 'old feel' to the property. We chose room only but stayed for dinner one night... my wife's rack of lamb was perfectly pink - my duck was equally delicious. Our request for fresh milk was quickly excecuted with a smile and an offer of further assistance... housekeeping called by at 9:55am to see if there was anything else that we needed. Checkout was equally efficient and courteous. Well done!!
