Hotel is extremely clean.
Location is great, very central, however, we were there a week over Christmas, and every night, around 5:00 pm or so until about 11:00 pm, there was some extremely loud music from the end of the street, and despite the very good quality windows, we could hear some background noise from our room, at the top floor. Not the fault of the hotel.
Elevator was a little capricious, we had to press the button several times to call it or get to our floor, hope they fix it soon, before some gets stuck.
The service was generally good. The reception staff were young and pleasant, though not especially personable. We stayed for a week, and no one ever asked how our day had been or whether we enjoyed the excursion we booked through the hotel. Like in many places, it seemed that staff were often more focused on their computers than on interacting with guests. I understand this is partly the nature of the job, as they need to answer questions and send information. On a positive note, when we needed assistance in our room on two occasions, someone came right away.
Reception is very small, no room to sit, with coffee or tea.
All in all a very good place to stay in Lisbon. Thank you.
