Editory Riverside

This hotel was located at the train station Tagus Riverside. It was clean and the rooms very quiet. There was an included breakfast buffet each morning. The offerings were numerous, and eggs cooked your way! I did not eat in the restaurant, but one night around 9:30 we decided to try one of the deserts before retiring. Cannot tell you if the brownie with gelato was good or bad as 35 min later we left without it being served to us. The waiter was more than embarrassed. The location is convenient to start out your trek in Lisbon!

The hotel is lovely. The train station in the building was extremely convenient for travel and coffee! The only downside was the very limited menu in the dining room. Drinks were good but only 2-3 entree choices were disappointing. We ate elsewhere every night. Prices in the dining room were as high as LA dispelling everything we heard about lower prices in Portugal.

Great location, great service, great experience

Had a great 2.5 nights at the Editory -- the team at the front desk was so friendly, helpful and responsive. We only had 2.5 nights because we had to leave at 3am to catch a cab to the airport which they very helpfully arranged. The hotel itself is beautiful, very retro (what I imagine 1920's glam style would be) above a centrally located train station and metro station. We could not hear a thing which was a concern when booking. Central to the Alfama district, and easy walking to the other tourist districts. They offered a breakfast but we didn't partake so I can't review that. Views were stunning to the river. My only "complaint" and this is really minor and very personal to me is that the bed was more firm than I personally care for, but that doesn't affect my rating or interest in returning to stay there. I would definitely recommend to other people visiting Lisbon, especially if you want a great view!

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. We opted for the breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of food available. We would stay there again. The hotel was part of the train station but our room was very quiet.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed 4 nights at the hotel. We stayed in one of the superior twin rooms with a sea view and enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious with a nice view. We found the hotel to be clean and tidy and the staff all friendly and welcoming. The location is good too. We also had breakfast included which was a breakfast buffet and enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Staff were accommodating and professional. It's location and decor was scenic and accessible. The train station was also on the property. So very convenient. Staff were helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

The hotel was beautiful, and the restaurant and breakfast buffet was wonderful. The location is also great because it is right next to the bus and train station. Our only complaint was that we had sugar ants in our room.. a lot of them, and the shower water wasn’t hot. Ours never got hotter than Luke warm. Otherwise the hotel is beautiful.
