The house was beautiful and very thoughtfully supplied for cooking. The swim spa was amazing. My kids had a lot of fun at the boat dock as well! The street leading to the house was great for walks and the location was perfect. Will visit again! Communication was also incredible!

We loved this spot! Plenty of room for our family with so many nice extras. The dock is beautiful and also had so many extras! The kayaks were a hit. The lake is beautiful. We want to go back next year. Our hosts were very responsive to us. Feeling so thankful for the family time!

Awesome Family Vacation

My husband and I rented this house for our daughters, their spouses and my four grandchildren. This property is even more beautiful in person. Had all the amenities and more. We had the best time hanging out on the dock and riding out on Lake Gaston. We had a memorable time and would love to do it again.

Lovely house on the lake! Dock is amazing. Great for families

The house is lovely, spacious and the dock is absolutely wonderful. The home suited our grandparents plus 3 adult grown families and grandkids. The bunk room is so fun. Agree with other reviews about upgrading kitchen supplies to match the caliber of a luxury home but everything was still fine and usable. Water was about 4.5’ deep so use caution jumping off. Would stay again!!!

The property was spectacular with the pool, kayak, open-concept rooms, gorgeous sunroom, and of course the bunk beds! Our entire family loved our experience here and we are dying to come back ASAP;)

Modern Lakehouse

We had a great time at Lake Gaston staying at this amazing, beautifully built modern home. The kids room was a hit and it was hard to get my daughter to leave to enjoy the lake. The layout lends itself great for socializing in the common area. Location and Structure 5/5 Wi-Fi 1/5 - as other reviews stated the Wi-Fi was abysmal. The owners did provide a mifi but with 5 adults and a hungry iPad watching toddler it didn’t go far. I’m all for reconnecting with nature buuut we love to stream movies at night as family, which was impossible. I saw some new tech in the closets of the home so I’m hoping an upgrade is coming soon! Pool 1/5 one of the main reasons I booked this home is for the pool/hot tub combo so the smaller kids could go swimming. But it was just a hot tub/hot tub combo plus you couldn’t control the temp. With high outside temps, the hot tubs were unusable especially for children that are sensitive to water temps. This was pretty disappointing. Overall, we had a lovely time but this felt like a premium property but there were some premium amenities missing.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing

Where do we begin?! From the home to the pier on the lake! AMAZING! We were able to dock our two boats and Fish off the pier, yes there is that much space! Kayaks provided. Easy access to amenities within the home, lake and home pool. Location of the home is perfect! The home was beautifully decorated and very modern! Highly recommend this VRBO! We hope to be back next year!

Great home for a family vacation on the lake. With two large masters; you can accommodate multiple families. Every bedroom has its own bathroom! And the kids room was amazing!

Great house, great for a family trip

The house was great for a family trip. It was very clean and came well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our family enjoyed the pool, the great patio area, the 2 kayaks, and the solo stove fire pit. We would highly recommend the place. The only two negatives are the WiFi was very spotty and the water by the dock was very shallow so not very swimmable right off the dock, but the pool made up for that as the kids loved it. The owner and the property manager are great and very responsive.
