Overall a good stay, food was surprisingly tasty, if a bit oily. Only drawback was the non-existent Wifi in the room. The waves crashing on the walls of the restaurant were quite impressive.

This hotel feels like the opening scene of a post-zombie apocalypse movie. It feels like, years after everyone either fled or was eaten alive, some survivors are now rebuilding the once-luxurious hotel. They are trying their best to reuse the left-behind monogrammed towels, branded stationery and ware, even though after years of collecting dust, they all look dated. Even the shower head is rusty. There were many workers trying to build marquees at the private beach, so perhaps the current owner has really only just taken over. Due to some booking confusion, I was initially given the wrong room where the fridge had the wrong plug for the socket, and the aircon was not cold. The staff did try to help, but it took them six, seven visits to get the fridge running, but it didn’t get cold. The aircon was later fixed. The following day I was given the right room (with an ocean view), and, again the fridge and the aircon didn’t work. I gave up on the fridge as I didn’t plan to use it much but the aircon was quite important to me as Lomé can get quite warm. The result was an operating aircon that could not be shut off, and to avoid further agony, I resolved it by cracking open the window when it got too cold. Not all the lights worked either but enough of them did so I just coped with it. The same with the weak water pressure from the shower.

There was no cable to watch international news for a 4 stars hotel, not good and when I call the receptionist, he claims not aware but will call me back and never did till I checked out next day

Lovely ocean side hotel

Pros: What I liked most was the warmth of the staff and the food!
Cons: Some of the shower fixtures were not stable.
Location: The hotel is in a suburb of Lome although there are local dress shops, hair salons, and supermarkets near by.
The staff was very accommodating, although they had very limited English. The outside ocean front restaurant was lovely and provided a calming vista. The food was delicious and chefs were able to cook to order.

The bed was very comfortable. The food at the restaurant was very good, although breakfast was a little weak.the beach was quite clean and it was fun to beachcomb, although swimming would be unsafe. It was nice to sit at the restaurant and watch the waves..
