The staff were great, and the bar and breakfast were good. However, the room was dated and notably only the bar seemed to have air conditioning, making it extremely hot. The bathroom also seemed to have no ventilation, making it much worse.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a bit warm as on 5th floor in hot weather and no air conditioning but they did provide a fan. Breakfast was wonderful, lovely communal spaces to relax in, especially the garden.

Great location close to the British Museum and Soho. Underground stations are close by too as well as Euston station. Only drawback is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms. I've stayed here in the fall and spring before and that was not a big deal, but in the summertime, it gets fairly warm.

This hotel was well kept and the staff was friendly however, the lack of AC was tough and despite the hotel indicating there are portable fan(s), it was super warm in the rooms. The fan was quite small. It was also quite nosy at night, they didn't note that anywhere.

the botanic garden is beautiful & wonderful. Breakfast has enough choices. Staff generally is helpful! All utility looks clean & tidy. thanks to the supporting team for maintaining a decent & clean environment especially in this hot weather.

We stayed as it was quite covenient for a concert we were attending. There was no air conditioning in the rooms, on a very hot weekend. Also on returning from the concert we found the bar closed at 11pm which was not ideal

Good location off Russel Square and close to British Museum. Hotel infrastructure not prepared for 90 degree weather. No AC, windows barely open, no refrigerators in room unless requested (and we weren't told we could request one) difficult bathrooms with poor water pressure, very noisy street-side of building made it hard to sleep. Hotel in dire need of upgrades, friendly sympathetic staff.

The only issue for us was the lack of air conditioning. Other than that, it was great. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and they worked hard to meet everyone’s needs.

Helpful and beautiful

Staff were very helpful getting us checked in early so we could go to our theatre booking, beautiful garden to sit in while having a drink. Excellent breakfast, thank you for a beautiful stay. We'll be back.
