Visiting family in Barnet from Australia, this was a good find.
Location is ideal for amenities, public transport and even parking once we'd worked out the Council's car parking system.
Accommodation was secure, comfortable and clean, though a bit scruffy round the edges. A couple of lights out and no fan in the bathroom, but nothing that especially affected us. Well fitted-out kitchen with all we needed.
perfect location for where i was working, nice clean tidy apartment with plenty of space, decent internet, TV and DVD player, great cooking utils (cooker, pans etc, which is always a bonus), 3 bedrooms (even tho i was alone) double, twin with on-suite and bunk beds so would have been a fantastic price for a family, parking is excellent only 20M from the apartment and at ÂŁ4 a day great value, close to multiple supermarkets and centre.
Points faibles : Service et personnel, confort de la chambre
London stop spot
There was no-one available to greet us on arrival. We waited 3 hours before anyone contacted us (by phone). The keys were hidden in a locked mail box we had to fish in amongst mail to find. No one explained the tag was also the entry code key. We had a room on the top floor in the height of summer with no air conditioning or fans. The manager had to bring a portable fan for us to use. The furniture was worn and dated and in need of a good clean. The arms on the brown lounge were black. The bed was uncomfortable to sleep in as springs were worn out. The area was lovely and historic. Access to arterial roads was easy and though no parking available on site, the public car park next door was reasonable at 4 pound 30p per day via a phone app.
this was my third stay in a month. thankfully management listened this time and poor me in an apartment with Average to good wifi. However the tv had no signal on looking at the aerial connection on the tv it was for a radio not a tv signal. a DVD player was provided but again no cable/scart lead to connect it to the TV. i bought an aerial cable so i could watch tv but the tv remote had seen better days and you could only move up channels. Toilet rolls seem to be rationed and very few clothes hangers. additionally a clothes horse /aerier was provided but it was actually broken. woukd be helpful if one or two washing tablets could be provided for the washing machine. apartments are unbearably warm and opening the windows means a lot of road noise.
Generally OK this was my second stay in a month the first stay was far better. After receiving several calls to confirm when I would check in I was left waiting for 20 minutes. The WiFi in apartment 8 is terrible and really only work in one small part of the apartment. Several lightbulbs were in need of replacing and I thought 1 toilet roll for a 7 night stay was rather ambitious. In general the apartment could do with a through check over for missing kitchen utensils and equipment that doesn't work like the provided DVD. A lot of room for improvement particularly on the WIFI
