Our stay at this property was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival , we were not provided with the entry code and had to contact the property manager for access. When we finally entered, the room was still being cleaned, despite it being the designated check-in time. After a long flight, we had no choice but to leave our belongings and go out to eat. When we returned, we encountered a man sitting on the stairs in front of our unit who asked to inspect the property for a leak. While it was unsettling, especially after such a long day, I felt somewhat reassured by having my husband and family with me. The situation would have been quite unnerving otherwise.
The unit itself had significant issues. There was a large leak in one bedroom ceiling, and another tub leaked at the base. The entire property was stuffy and smelled of mildew, making it an uncomfortable stay for two members of our group who suffer from asthma. It was evident that there had been ongoing water leak issues at this property, which were not disclosed to us prior to our stay.
Additionally, the property was advertised as accommodating six people, but in reality, it felt cramped for our group of five. We constantly bumped into each other, and the lack of space only added to our discomfort. To make matters worse, this was our first experience with VRBO, and the support from VRBO was minimal when we were trying to reach the property manager for access, leaving us frustrated and without t the help we needed.
Pretty decent apartment for small family. They gave us the wrong lockbox information for check-in which was frustrating for a tired family at the end of a long travel day, but they fixed their mistake reasonably quickly once we were able to reach them through VRBO help desk. It would be much more efficient if the owners put a direct number to them on their email communications. The electricity also went out overnight on our last night meaning spoiled food in the refrigerator and freezer and no devices charged as we left to travel again. Other than those issues it is a decent property.
