The people at the reception were really nice. The hotel, not worth. Too small rooms, no desk to work on your computer , not in the room, not in the entire hotel. We wish we had better cleaning service.

Staff were pleasant. Breakfast was simple but fine. However, room had multiple major problems. Door key socket gave big electric shock (reported, unclear if ever fixed). Top floor room was hot, AC didn’t work, and like most London hotels there is only a thick comforter, no sheets. Shower is tankless hot water with pressure pump, both broken/poorly set up or maintained. So shower water cycles hot-cold every 20 seconds, and pressure drops to zero (shower totally off for 3-5 seconds) every ~30 seconds. Miserable, but keeps showers short for the hotel. Would not recommend.

Arrived at 1.30pm and was able to check in early. Room was lovely small but manageable for 6 notes. Only 3 minutes walk from Paddington, lots of restaurants, sainsbury in station.

Simple things matter. Hotel was clean, good location, everything but customer service. We stayed here for four nights. This was the last four days of a 9 week trip. The customer service here was the worst of 67 night trip. We left the do not disturb sign up during our four nights so we didn’t require any daily service. But when I ask for coffee pods and milk of the front desk you would think that I asked for gold bars. I also ask for three or four ice cubes for the my wife’s medicine thermos. Manager’s only comment is that I shouldn’t expect something that was not in the description on the website.

Grand Concerto Hotel-not very grand!!

Excellent early check in but rooms were very small, no drawers to put underwear etc in, no hook on a door to hang outdoor clothing and not enough hangers on the small wardrobe. Air conditioning was very good. Staff not at all friendly, some didn’t even speak when we said good morning and on check out didn’t say a word! Location was very good as only a 2 minute walk to Paddington station, plenty of shops and cafes in the area and a 5 minute walk to Hyde Park. To say the hotel has only just been refurbished there was an awful lot of dirty marks on the walls and one of our rooms overhead shower squirted sideways so hit you in the face when the door was open and went all over the floor.

I have been staying in various hotels around Paddington for work and this is by far the best. The lobby was welcoming (and smelt nice!) and the room was super comfortable, bathroom was modern/clean. I will definitely stay here again.

The room was booked to accommodate 4 adults which it did, however it was in the basement and felt a bit claustrophobic. I might not have booked if I knew ahead of time it was below ground. There was also a used bath towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Everything else looked clean and was probably just overlooked but still not a great thing to give you confidence that the room was cleaned properly. The staff was kind and the location great.

Property was great overall. Wonderful location with easy walking access to Paddington Station, lots of dining options, and many sights. The room was exceptionally small. Nowhere to open or store a suitcase, no drawers, no desk, no chairs to sit in, not even enough room to walk around the bed
