Nice area, lovely staff members and was given a free can of drink on my arrival which was a lovely touch. Room was comfortable with tea and coffee and a mini fridge as well as a hair dryer. I have taken off a star for the amount of stairs I had to climb (6 flights), and for the very weak water pressure in the shower. But was a decent stay and I would stay again :)!

Parking is on a first come first serve basis but the staff are very accommodating. I arrived early but was given a room that was ready. Unfortunately i did have to wait 20 mins for someone to come to reception. Room was grate clean just what was needed for a 1/2 night stay. The bathroom is very small with a shower that can just about fit a skinny person in, but the shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. There was a team of people in doing maintenance so there was some noise but not alot. Unfortunately my door did feel like a revolving door. Take pictures of work, check work that was completed, give me bodywash and shampoo, put a new fridge in the room and fix the bathroom door as it didnt lock. Another thing is even if you lock your room the cleaner can still open it(leave the do not disturb sign out). Parking costs £15 but they ask for £35 for a deposit (you get £20 back) which i wasnt told during booking. Apart from the small issues i had i would definitely come back if im ever in the area again.

If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay, this is it. Use as a place to sleep and shower only. Rooms are small and very hot. Portable AC units available but dont work all that well to cool it down. No elevator so you have to carry all your luggage up flights of stairs. Bathrooms are small and need some renovating. No shelves to put toiletries. Staff was very polite ans friendly. They did their best to make us comfortable - gave us an extra AC unit, fresh towels when requested, provided help with directions and transportation questions. Basic english breakfast was included. Close to a Big Bus hop-on, hop-off sightseeing bus. Hyde park is close enough to walk to as well. Also close to Paddington train station.

Very typical Paddington hotel. Old but clean and has everything you need for a few nights stay. Even an iron and board on our landing. Breakfast was great and the lovely lady greeted us every morning with a smile .

Good location but needs air con

Great location and friendly staff. Good value for money. The only problem was our room was so hot and stuffy despite it only being about 20 degrees outside during the day and cooler at night. It was in the basement and had a window but it was still really hot inside. A fan had been provided which helped but it really needs air conditioning. If it was that hot on a mild day then I think it would be unbearable on a very warm day.

It was clean, comfortable and full of authentic charm! The staff, particularly Kevin at the front Desk and Hanah in the breakfast room. Kevin really is so welcoming , knowledgeable, friendly to all of us. But kindly went out of his was to help me exchange old paper bills. And Hanah, you would never see her without a smile, she treated us like family. We truly felt welcome and at home here.
