A very nice room with en-suite shower. Comfy beds - singles as came to town to see a show with my daughter. We enjoyed a swim in the pool followed by a sauna. Check out was 12 so gave us loads of time, without having to rush. The only thing I’d have liked would be provision of more than 2 teabags, some biscuits and hot chocolate sachets. They were no fruit teabags either, seemed a bit mean considering everything else was great. Staff very friendly and efficient at check in. We were able to leave our bags behind the desk as we arrived too early for check in as we were seeing a matinee performance, which was very beneficial.

The hotel was a great place to stay. It had many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The train was very close to walk to as well - only a few stops (I think around 4 stops) to places like Big Ben. The service was great and the rooms were large with a phenomenal view of the Shard. Housekeeping services were great and the room was always cleaned and well stocked. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to London.

Wonderful view of London’s skyline! Everyone is so kind. I added one extra night, got free upgrade which allow me to stay in my room with city view, no hassle to move around. The extra night I booked actually for a room smaller/no city view. Thank you so much! Highly recommended.

Was an awful stay, rude staff, pool area and changing rooms were dirty, constant noise coming from the air vent and window of the room, also was not told of the protest that was going on outside on one of the days, police officers were in and out of the hotel, barricades were put up around the hotel. It was the worst weekend away I have ever had.

Ok but could be better

Nice modern hotel , our view out towards Central London was pretty impressive. Be aware the hotel does have a fence round the outside due to the ongoing protests at the hotel opposite but this no fault of the hotel. Staff friendly enough but not particularly engaging. No asking the purpose of our trip or any upsell attempts on check in for dinner or breakfast. Didn’t sleep very well with water heard running through a pipe multiple times in the night. Went to make tea in the morning, to discover the milk left in the tea tray had best before dates of May 25 and August 25 , called down, no apology but assured more would be sent up. 20 minutes later we were delivered more but again it still had the same dates on ! Called down again , apology this time and was promised more would be sent again but no luck after 20 minutes. I had to go down myself to chase up and fresh milk was eventually delivered. Not the best start to the morning and not a good lasting impression ! Again no feedback sought on check out , just took the keys off of us. Also came back for a drink before we departed , disappointing to hear who we assume the head bartender say to the other ‘don’t make me angry again’. Unsure why the comment was made but I wouldn’t expect any staff member to be spoken to like that. In summary an ok stay but needs to be better when the price tag is £200+ per night.
