Staff are fantastic, area is centrally located. Hotel was clean and the buffet is fabulous. We added breakfast on as we needed. It’s easy to over eat while on vacation so I recommend skipping a meal or possibly two a day if you are having large meals.You can always pick up a snack There’s a lot to see in London so hotel location is important

Very well located close to variety of shops , cafes and restaurants in Covent Garden . Hotel very busy , helpful and courteous staff . Excellent breakfast, buffet style . Would have liked a cafe in the hotel for drinks and snacks . Also some clearer signage to rooms . Clean and well-appointed bedrooms and bathroom .

Location is superb but having stayed at this hotel 3 times over the last 18 months there has been a noticeable decline in room maintenance standards. The air con didn’t work, the TV didn’t work, part of the hot water faucet was missing. We were on a weekend trip and being early autumn the air con wasn’t essential nor was the TV but basic maintenance checks should be carried out between guests and clearly are not. In simple terms, with this level of decline the room rates are too high.

Well situated - near Covent Garden and both lovely restaurants and quick casual bites. Missed having a refrigerator in my room, but otherwise all other amenities considered. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was very small and a little disappointing - little touches were missing as an example, no instant coffee just a really complicated machine with no instructions and coffee pods only? These were not labelled - all I wanted Kate at night was a normal coffee - also no complimentary cotton buds or shoe shine kit that you might expect from a 4 star hotel in London

Terrific location, right in Covent Garden, easy walk to unlimited shopping and dining. Hotel is great- terrific easy buffet breakfast, clean, and quiet. One elevator was down out of three, so the transit time could be a little slow during busy times, but was easily manageable.

Dear [Hotel Name] Team, I stayed at your hotel on September 11th, and although it was just for one night, the experience left a lasting impression. It happened to coincide with the London Underground strike, and I was unsure how to reach my destination. I asked the porter, Aleksandor, for help. My English isn’t very fluent, but he was incredibly patient and kind—he clearly explained the directions and how to navigate the situation. He even helped me refill my water bottle, which I truly appreciated. At check-in, I was warmly welcomed by Karca, who was polite and friendly, making the arrival process smooth and pleasant. I also loved the red water bottle provided in the room with “London” printed on it—it was both practical and a lovely keepsake. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel’s location made it so easy to reach major attractions. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I will definitely recommend your hotel to friends visiting London for the first time. Warm regards, Isabel

I think some of the reviews here are misleading. The Strand doesn’t have air conditioning (that you can control, anyway) and we found our room too hot. You can open the window slightly but the street is very busy and loud. The noise isn’t too bad when the shutters are closed at night but if anyone is in an adjoining room be prepared to hear every word they say. There is no sound proofing on these rooms. Also the front desk staff are pretty disinterested in helping you - if they don’t want to be asked where the gym is, perhaps they should list it anywhere in the room or their website (ground floor, fyi). Overall very expensive for not a particularly great hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great location. Walking distance to many attractions and public transportation. Room was clean, bed was super comfortable, shower had good water pressure. Cost of breakfast was reasonable, especially when paired with coupon for skipping housekeeping. Water refill stations by elevators were very convenient. Fantastic hotel. Would definitely stay there again.
