We loved every little bit about this hotel! The staff were friendly and helpful. For example, we arrived after an eight hour flight well before our room was ready. The staff showed us to the restroom so we could freshen up and change. They stored our bags so we could go explore the area and get something to eat. Once we got back to the hotel, our room was ready with our bags already inside. It’s these thoughtful little considerations that made our stay extra special. The room was clean and very comfortable! There’s plenty in the area to see and do! Lots of fantastic dining options! We look forward to staying again!

Amazing staff and an unbeatable location

The Montague on the Gardens was simply wonderful from start to finish. From the greetings (and assistance with our luggage) when we arrived to afternoon tea, many hours spent in the Leopard (Cougar) bar sipping delicious cocktails, and a clean, comfortable room with robes, slippers and a turn-down service, to arranging cabs for our departure, the staff were welcoming, accommodating, knowledgeable and attentive. And, the location is unbeatable. Literally next door to the British Museum and steps from Covent Garden, Chinatown, the West End and the tube, the Montague on the Gardens offers amazing access to everything London has to offer.

Great hotel walking distance to Covent Garden

Stayed for weekend in London to take in show in west end and evening out in Soho, both easy walking distance. Staff extremely welcoming, rooms very comfortable nice large king bed ans soft pillows ! Breakfast amazing, even smoked crispy streaky bacon! Could not fault and will stay again

Excellent, except the beds

Service was impeccable. Staff extremely classy and friendly. Hotel is beautiful. But the beds are not long enough for anyone 6 feet tall or more. Slept with my head in the board and my feet in the other board, so pretty uncomfortable and frustrating.

We had a good stay and a super meal in the restaurant. Service was excellent including rescuing me after a coffee disaster, by having three pairs of trousers dry cleaned within two hours. The secure valet parking was super for Central London. The only slight negative was the room was rather tired.

Our favourite London hotel! This gem of a boutique hotel is centrally located with great rooms and atmosphere but two things really set it apart. 1) The staff. Super friendly and efficient and they take the time to make you feel welcome and special. 2) The small details. The canapes in the room on arrival. The quality cafetiere coffee and real milk -. not those horrid little cartons. The lovely Floris toiletries. This is definitely our choice for future London trips.
