Nice and reasonably priced Malayan restaurant downstairs and within walking distance of a few eateries (hotel does not provide food). Hotel was nice but reception staff on our arrival (6.30pm) was a bit miserable. Was also not informed I’d need photo ID to access the place (even though I’d already checked in online). Lucky my wife had hers! Our room was already taken by someone else’s luggage when we entered the room, so we were given another room in the basement. More spacious than the first room we were ‘offered’ but a little tired in appearance/furnishings in comparison. All in all though, a nice clean room and a good nights sleep with no traffic noise!!

Well located hotel in Kensington. Staff is diligent but not nice. We stayed in two different weeks; first room was in the ground floor, very small and with no window. The second week they gave us a much better room because we complained. They were nice to keep our luggage during our trip to Edinburgh. The breakfast options are not varied.

There was no lift to our room. Only narrow steep stairs that were behind two doors and a hallway. Very strange and troubling to find. The wife got bitten all over by bed bugs! Our bathroom was down a short hallway behind a heavy fire door, not part of our room. Inconvenient.

Room was spacious and clean, but i did not like the shower over bath. it was not easy to climb out of it especially after it had become wet. I recommend some grip handles to hold onto as climbing out of shower over tub.

Our own royal room

Excellent location, close to tube station, cafes, convenience stores. Good size room and bathroom, enjoyed the balcony. We had a mini fridge which was useful for our breakfast items we bought at local store. Enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel is a quite road of Kensigton - close to bus Stop and Tube station -at 3 min are available bar - pub - restaurant and Sainsbury supermarket. The building is in perfect Edoardian Style - the lobby is very confortable with sofa and armchairs. Room are big and clean - bathroom very confortable and wide. Even if we have reached the hotel in the late night the staff was kind and friendly - They offer for free two bottle of water and the storage of the luggage the departuring day. Very recommended for couple.
