Not worth the price

Wouldn’t stay here again. $60/night for a “resort fee” and we still had to pay extra to get chairs and towels for the kids for a beach day. We went up to enjoy the pool, which ended up having cloudy water and was overcrowded, and were informed we’d have to leave by 5pm because the hotel was hosting an evening event in the rooftop space. The rooms were of medium quality but the shower was in pretty bad shape with almost no water pressure. The walls and ceiling were so thin that we could hear people in the rooms around us even if they were walking and speaking at normal volumes. We thought we had paid a premium for a nicer stay in Long Beach but I can’t recommend this place.

This property is located literally by the beach and is given beach passes, chairs and towels. Our room was spacious. What more you can want?

Loved the location, beautiful view of boardwalk and beach. Many of the staff were helpful and sincere, unfortunately they have a few, you don't really want to know. So training is a clear issue. Most rooms smelled of a mildew, we settled into the first room they brought us to because they were kimd enough to unlock the window so we xould get fresh breeze off the ocean. My overall assessment, it was OK. At the price they charge, i would have hoped for more. Unfortunately, they are the only game in town if you want to be on the beach. If i had the energy I had 20 years ago, I'd build a competing hotel in Long Beach.

Great hotel in an excellent location. The beach is a 2 minute walk with the rest of the island being within easy driving reach. Trains to NYC are also nice and easy. The entertainment and the pool are a big plus

Allegria’s excellent reception desk staff (Sharon, Marsha, Rajesh were professional, welcoming, helpful); its excellent and conveniently walkable beachfront location, along with its beach hut amenities; and gorgeous views of the Atlantic made for a wonderful stay. Definitely worth a return visit!

Oasis

Bech front/boardwalk location is stunning, rooftop pool is great (family friendly). Access to bikes, surf gear at a cost. Beach passes, chairs and towels are included. Great food, easy access to local amenities. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Looking forward to returning.

The hotel was clean and very convenient to the beach and boardwalk. The restaurant was terrible. The food was ok. However, breakfast took an hour and a half. Went back in the evening, ordered 2 drinks, it took a half hour and both drinks came out wrong. Then we ordered an appetizer (steak egg rolls) they took 40 minutes to come out and the waitress dropped one on the floor. They brought out an extra one 10 minutes later and it was cold inside. Would not use the restaurant again.
