The mid-century decor was nice though the rm with king bed was small, beautiful roof top pool area. Short walk to reataurants and shops on Hollywwod Blvd and Selma. Night club next door impacted the the area and noise levels from 7pm to 2am. Be aware of valet parking which cost $60 per day and a $97 resort fee which was not ready disclosed.

Dirty room; most expensive suite and it sat right above their nightclub so insanely loud even at 3AM. Took 40 minutes to get car from valet and entire area smells of weed and urine. 4 star lobby and 2 star hotel. Would never return.

Perfect hotel minus the DJ bumping al night.
Posted Jan. 28, 2024 on HotelsThis was the most wonderful experience until the music started blasting through the walls all night until after 3:00am. Even my noise canceling sounds were unable to mask it. Besides that, this hotel is beautiful and chic.

I loved this hotel! The roof top restaurant overlooking the Hollywood Hills is breathtaking. The decor is super chic and boutique hotel vibes. There is a record store across the street for random shopping and a Trader Joe’s walking distance to grab snacks. It was close to other places in L.A. via Uber or Lyft.

Great customer service, 24 hour security around the property, a lot of in room amenities (room service, in room dining options, balcony, mini bar), centrally located to a lot of attractions.

Guy at check-in counter was extremely unfriendly. We arrived at 2pm (official check-in is 4pm which is a little late, other hotels are usually 3pm) and he said we had to pay for $75 early check in (which we did because we were so tired). that was disappointing given that the room was already ready anyway, and that it was not full capacity, we were staying 5 (!) nights and it was near the new year celebration. There was also no festive mood within the hotel outside of paid entry to the restaurants around. husband tried asking for HDMI cable one day since their TV did not support apple devices (which is pretty shocking in this time and age and neither of us were using android devices) and the staff was rude and unhelpful. area around the hotel was seedy. we had to call housekeeping thrice and came back to an uncleaned room at night and had to evacuate so that housekeeping could clean the room. Also, toilet has a curtain from the outside which is half transparent and there's no way around it so please take note if you're not traveling as a couple. Guy on the last day at the counter during checkout was nice, but he was the only one. overall, a disappointing stay for a hyatt associated hotel.
