The area is convenient and closed to many restaurants, cafes and H mart is great. The pool water temperature is nice and warm. The restaurant by the pool is very nice. The view to the Hollywood hill is fantastic but interior of the room is kinda weird. The artwork on the wall and decorative items are strange. We don’t know what style it is. The bathroom has no fan ventilation. The noise from construction near by woke us up early.

went to a concert at the wiltern theater close walking distance from hotel. lots of food options for late night dinner

We had a great room facing north (Hollywood sign and observatory on full display). Rooms are small but nicely situated and appointed. Bed is firm, but that means no dipping into each other in middle or into other's impressions. Some furniture isn't practical, but we didn't spend too much time in the room. The hotel needs refurbishment as the furniture is beat up and the dingy carpet (should be replaced with some type of solid service and rugs). The hotel noise was quiet but it's located in the city so expect some city and traffic noise. We always use brown noise to help us sleep so weren't disturbed. The views, kind hotel staff, and convenient location to our kid's apartment ensures we'll be back!
