This was a horrible stay! I checked in but didn’t go to my room immediately. We got back late. Sat our stuff down & saw a roach race across the table! Killed it then flushed it. Went to call the front desk & the phone didn’t even work! So we checked the room throughly and didn’t see anymore. I had already put on night clothes, too tired to go to the front desk, plus the parking lot was full. I knew they couldn’t change my room. Checked in the bed, saw nothing, so we went to sleep. At 5:45 am we were woke up by a lady screaming at her husband. I thought she will stop in a minute but she didn’t. Looking back on it I should have just called the police because I picked up the room phone to call the front desk but had forgot…..it doesn’t work!! She screamed at him on & off for 2 hours. There is no way that the desk clerk didn’t hear it…no way!!! Around 9 am the woman was outside in the seating area & started yelling again. Now I know everyone at breakfast heard her. I literally opened my blind giving her a look then she stopped. Go to take a shower and find mold in the corner of the ceiling! When I checked out Anglea was working. She was so very nice. She said she would give me a couple of nights free for my issues. I told her I wasn’t looking for anything free but I appreciated her doing that. Turns out I didn’t get any free nights. I have to pay. Very disappointed in the entire experience!

Breakfast was very good. The staff was great and accommodating, as they gave us a room with no window shade or curtain. They did give us an extra blanket to put over it so no one could see into our room. I don’t understand how they can be ok knowing a room was exposed to the public like this and a part was on order? They should have not had this room available. The surroundings around the hotel was poor and unsafe. Many walking around the property on drugs.

Disappointed

When we arrived for check-in we were told pool was closed that morning. One of the reasons we choice this hotel. Got to our room and could hear music that was coming from the from door of the hotel as you walk in. We heard that music from check in to check out. Our room was located directly above the outside speaker! Told the lady at the desk and was told she told cooperate said the music had to stay on 24/7. So much for a nice quiet relaxing getaway for my wife and I. The tv had like 15ish channels and no way to stream for Netflix etc. The breakfast was great and the room nicely updated.
