Beautiful views!
Posted Oct. 9, 2023 on HotelsBeautiful setting right on the bay!! Nice grounds to walk around in, complete with Adirondack chairs and seating on the deck. Our room had a wonderful view! Everything was very clean. The restaurant was excellent!!

We had never been to the Argyler before. The setting is idyllic in a rustic sense. We stayed in the inn, though they have a small number of cottages on the property. Our room, clean and appointed with all we needed, looked out on the many islands of the Argyle Sound. The inn is close to the Acadia community of Lower West Pubnico, which has what must be one of the largest fishing fleets in Nova Scotia, and superb seafood restaurants. Overall, a great experience. We’ve already booked to come back again next year, and added an extra day so we can explore the local area.

Although the property is very nice and the lodge is beautifully situated, our room was small and dark without enough surfaces for placing toiletries etc.
The meal in the dining room was excellent.

Room was small with only one little window but it did face the water
A/C noisy but effective!
Great deck to sit outside for drinks near water

The room was comfortable and had a pleasant view of the valley below. We enjoyed the restaurant. The only negative is the plastic bottles of water when you arrive in the room. The message is that the tap water is not good to drink but it tastes fine and they serve it in the restaurant.
