Summary

This lovely 4 bed 2 bath home is located in the quiet suburb of Quail Rise not far from Queenstown Central Shopping Centre. No matter the season from our warm summers to winters white with snow you can enjoy beautiful walks along the river, mountain bike trails, ski fields, day trips to Arrowtown or Lake Wanaka and starry night skies or you may just wish to sit back and enjoy the view of the Remarkable Mountains with a local Central Otago wine.

Neighborhood

Quail Rise is a quiet residential area. Although you feel like you are away from it all you are so close to shops, restaurants, ski fields and the airport. You also have access to a variety of walking and biking tracks. Less than a 10 minute walk away is the Shotover River and the historic old bridge. There's even a children's play park, neighbourhood tennis court and basketball hoop within easy walking distance of the house.


Access

You have access to the whole house except the garage which will be locked.

Space

The open plan living area of the house boasts a sunny lounge and dining table which allows you to sit and relax while taking in the views of the Remarkable Mountains. The house has a lovely fully equipped modern kitchen. The wood fire is yelling at you to grab a good book and a drink (wine or coffee depending on the time of day) and making yourself comfortable on the couch - you may never want to leave.

The fully equipped kitchen is a great place to prepare some fantastic local foods for your family or group. Can't you just imagine the smells you could come home to after a days skiing or exploring if you put the slow cooker on before you headed out for the day. We also have a rice cooker, air fryer and sandwich press to give you a variety of cooking options.

There is a cosy TV room featuring a flat screen smart TV which has Free 2 Air and is Netflix capable. We also have a Playstation 4

There are four bedrooms to choose from
Bedroom 1 = King bed with Ensuite
Bedroom 2 = Queen bed
Bedroom 3 = Queen bed
Bedroom 4 = 1 Single bed with the addition of a trundle to make it 2 singles if required

The large backyard is the perfect place for families, couples, friends and large groups. There are two separate outdoor areas including a BBQ and wall hung herb garden. The lush lawns are perfect for the kids to run around on in the long Otago summers.

Transit

5 minutes to Five Mile & Queenstown Central Shopping Centre
7 minutes to Queenstown Airport
Less than 15 minutes to downtown Queenstown
15 - 20 minutes drive to the local ski fields
Arrowtown is a pleasant 15 minute drive away
And if you are looking at tasting some of the local wines then some of the wineries are less than 10 minutes away.

If you wish to take a bus into town the closest stop is less than an 8 minute walk away.

Linen, towels and wifi are included in the price.
We use professional cleaners and hired linen to ensure our home is cleaned to the highest standards
A port-a-cot and high chair are available for hire if required - please ask.
The garage is not available for guests to use.


House Rules

This house is in a quiet residential neighbourhood - not suitable for parties or too much noise. No smoking in any part of the house. House must be left locked with lights & appliances turned off. BBQ clean (if used)

The house should be tidy, with dishes done and rubbish in the big bins provided – our cleaners will take care of the rest. Please do not use the balcony/deck areas after 10pm and before 7am.
