It was good except for the smell of cigarette smoke that is so overwhelming upon entering the building . Moldy and dirts builds up on bottom of the shower door.
There was festivities going around the town that week starting Feb.5 onward was very noisy all night long. Be prepared if you are travelling this dates.

Lovely, very near at bus stop. 2 stops to luzern station and also walkable 10 mins tops. No kettle at
room but has hot water downstairs

I booked the double room with a lake view. My room's view was an office building. When I went to inform the manager, first he was confused, then I showed him my booking confirmation. He laughed and said no room in the hotel has a lake view, and he would remove the "lake view" from the description. I'm writing this review one week after I checked in, and it is still in the description. The hotel is 3 and a half stars; I say it's a 2 at least.
WiFi was also a major issue, and the lady at reception told me to add my card details, but I would not be charged. I wasn't sure, so I just left, as I have never had to add my card details to get free wifi.
The great thing about the hotel is that it is located in a great area and is very convenient to get everywhere via walking, buses, and taxis. It is a 15-minute walk from the train station and most of the main attractions.
