Totally refurbished to welcome you, its entire space was designed for your comfort and well-being. The modern and careful decoration is in tune with the historical streets that surround this city building. With a bedroom with double bed, a bathroom and a generous open space, this apartment is perfect to discover the charms of Funchal.
The house is fully equipped and has all the amenities to make you feel at home.

AREA
This house is located in a privileged central area, right in the heart of the city of Funchal. At 15 minutes walking distance from the Lavradores Market and the Old Town of Funchal, from here you can explore on foot the several touristic points of our beautiful city (e.g. Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, SĂ© Catedral, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc...)

PROPERTY RULES
To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.

‱ Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance.
‱ Parties or events are not permitted.
‱ Pets are not permitted.
‱ Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.

The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property.

In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes.

Municipal tourist tax (when applicable):
€2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival.

Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability.

Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge.

By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions.

OTHER NOTES
All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket.
For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.

Clean, comfortable, well located

The studio apartment was really comfortable for the two of us. The kitchenette had the basics (including cooking oil so we made eggs in the mornings) and enjoyed our breakfasts out on the little patio. It's very central for walking in Funchal and we used a parking garage around the corner (Sao Francisco). Having a washing machine and free access to detergent was really helpful. Highly recommend!

Good Appartment!

Very nice apartment, clean and well located. Everything was perfect, even the towel and bed linen changes. However, the toilet wouldn't flush and the refrigerator didn't work. This was very annoying and wasn't fixed until the end!

Thank you for staying! the apartment is in the city center and we had short distances for all planned activities. We felt safe and comfortable. It was a bit noisy but that depends on the neighbors of the other apartments and the house (when doors are slammed). All in all very nice stay

Nice Apartement in good location

The apartment is really beautiful and enough for 2 people. The location in downtown is absolutely great! Unfortunately there are no closets for clothes and there is no closet in the bathroom either. There are dishes in the kitchen, there are not enough coffee cups and there is not enough space for cooking. There are washing machines and dryers available for free use. Unfortunately, there is no drying rack to dry clothes that are not allowed in the dryer. The light in the stairwell is on, day and night! That was very annoying. Maybe the motion detector is broken? Short way to many restaurants...

the best apartments ever

Super new apartment, everything like is in a hotel - white towels, new plates and so. Very comfortable. Lockated in downtown, 10m to to to the port station where dep ships to Portimao and Porto Santo. Electronic codes - no problems with keys. Amazing view from apartments on 4th floor. If I back to Madeira - try to stay here again! For sure!

Great place to stay on the island

Very clean apartment located in the heart of Funchal. Equipped with everything you may need. (Toaster, microwave oven, coffee machine, iron, etc.) and even a blender for whatever reason you may need it during your vocation. Washing machine is also available and it's free of charge. Apartment is located in 2 minute walking distance from hundreds of cafes, bars, restaurants and places of interest. Great service and easy communication with management. Special thanks goes to Carolina for warm welcome. She was super friendly and helpful despite our very late arrival. Downtown Funchal Apartments by TravelToMadeira is absolutely the best choice if you are looking for a place to stay on the island. Definitely recommend to everyone.
