Staff was very friendly and helpful. The building was on the older side and the room was smallish, but well-kept and clean. Biggest complaint is the noise - while the balcony afforded a view of the valley, it was right at the base of the bridge that crossed the river, and every loud motorcycle, diesel pickup truck and semi seemed to generate as much noise as possible coming into or going out of town.

Wasn't worth 110$ a night not even close cleanliness leaves something to be desired.... had so many plug in airfreshners in hallway that it was horrid getting to room..... scent was way way way too much.... listings and even brochure makes it seem that every room has jaccuzi or whirlpool tub... they do not....

Thank you for your recent review on your stay with us. I am sorry we did not meet your expectations. We are on a hillside and you have to go up a hill to reach the motel and the parking is beside it.

The view is absolutely beautiful looking at when it was established was very interesting to see as well i recommend the balcony view

Hillside Inn is a nice hotel. Our room, and the hotel as a whole, was very clean! We had a room with a whirlpool tub, which was nice. It, also, was very clean.
Beautiful view from the large balcony. You can see from the Ohio river bridge all the way to Clifty inn on the hill.
Nice breakfast with yummy biscuits and gravy.
Very nice staff.
