I had a very comfortable and spacious room with two beds. The price was reasonable, and I didn't mind the shared bathroom. It's worth noting that the rooms in the front of the building can be a tad noisy with traffic from the street, but it wasn't too bad. My biggest concern was that the internet seemed slow and unreliable, constantly cutting out on both of my phones and my laptop, so I had to go to a co-working space down the block in order to get any work done.

Schön, sauber, gute Lage, gutes Frühstück

Das Check-In ging suoer, unser Privat Zimmer war sehr sauber und nicht lärmig. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und die Angestellten sehr freundlich. Leider hatte es kein Kühlschrank und keine Küche, was in einem Hostel zu erwarten wäre.

A great hostel for the price in a perfect area. Footsteps from the subway and waking distance to most major attractions. I was surprised they even made up my room during the day. Disappointed no soap or cups provided in the room and the air conditioning could not be controlled by me in my room even though I was in a private room. Despite this fact, it only got too cold for me once.

Short stay

I spent two nights at Safestay. I arrived at about 2 am and was glad that they still let me check into my room. The man that I checked in with was thorough. Checking out, however, there was a very rude employee. Luckily, I was saved by another person working at the front desk.

Nice Hostel

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Wifi was very poor in the rooms I got, and can get noisy if you get a room that faces the street. But it's a hostel so there'd be noise after midnight.
