The staff were lovely, the beds were comfy but unfortunately we had a dirty towel, faulty shower door, old sweet packets left & we could hear the people next door so clearly as it was it was an adjoining room which woke us up earlier than we wanted. Not really what we expected from a hotel of this standard.

Two single beds pushed together do not constitute a queen sized bed. Having the join in the middle of the bed is most uncomfortable. Also, the pillows were atrocious. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

Reception staff friendly and efficient, had to go back down as we had no pillows for the 4 of us and only 2 bath towels. It was dealt with by reception staff and reaction seemed as if they weren't surprised. Breakfast- my 10 &14yr old sons loved the buffet, according to the multiple plates. Good variety to help with lifestyle choices, a typical selection, I always judge by the sausages and egg options (scrambled only) - not premium but fine. Pool - clean, a little busy at family time and not overly large, but we were able to do laps and have fun. I appreciated the sauna and steam rooms. Room- 2 x double queen bed. The bedroom isn't very big, not a lot of space to move around. No where to hang multiple towels to dry in the bathroom - could utilise the space more. Location- easy walk into central Manchester. Would i go again? Yes, but at a lower price, I booked last minute (the day before!), I'd want to be paying at least 25% less

The bedroom was clean, modern and as one would expect in a 4* hotel. Breakfast wasn't icluded and a little pricey at £22.00. The dinner menu was limited and not a good choice of pizzas, the one I ordered was fairly uninspiring. Spa and gym facilities were excellent and the gym was very well equiped for a hotel due to it being open to non residents. Mini bar was empty which required a trip down to the bar early hours of the morning for a bottle of water as the room service number was unanswered and despite the hotel offering 24 hour room service a bottle of water could not be had as the bar was closed. Despite these minor things it was a great stay and wuld highly recommend it.

I wasn’t really happy with my stay and it felt like a waste of money. The room was FREEZING! We complained so many times. Originally the AC machine wasn’t working so it had to be reset. We had to get extra duvets and even had a radiator given to us but it was still cold. Most of the time we had to stay under the covers or wear layers of clothes to keep warm. Breakfast wasn’t that great, the hot food was quite bland and some of it was cold. The deli and pastry’s were better. We wasn’t really excited about dining there as when outside with my partner, we saw a mouse running up and down the curtain in the restaurant area (I have video evidence as well) It really put us off and we didn’t really want to stay anymore. The one positive thing I can say is that the staff are very nice and helpful. The guy who checked us in treated us very well given our room wasn’t ready on time and the guy in the night who came up a few times to assist with us being cold was very nice too.

Was given a double bed despite being told at reception they had changed it to a twin room Adjoins door caused major issues from 1.20am noise levels totally unacceptable Front desk was alerted and was told hotel totally full so could not move rooms and also noise wasn’t that bad! Even though it woke nth my daughter and I up ! One hour later after listening to a ‘party’ next door the noise stopped only to be replaced by what can only be described as unacceptable noise levels of sexual behaviour which we were told they could do nothing about My daughter and I had to leave our room due to the nature and levels of noise we sat in reception whilst a room Was cleaned and was told we would received a refund … a week later still no refund ! The night manager Jose whilst did his best to sort it out there is sadly no follow up to what was an expensive night away with roughly 3 hours sleep ! Still waiting for my refund and an email From The hotel
