Needs serious attention to details

We choose this hotel as we had stayed here once before. This time our visit was less than desirable. First room we were giving had wall paper peeling from the wall,stained carpet like a motel 8 trashy place,rusty lamps, grimy bathroom that had a shower curtain rod that looked like it had been ripped from the wall. We asked to switch rooms and the second room though somewhat cleaner in appearance had a dehumidifier on the floor . Due to the musty smell in the air and the damp feeling on the carpet. This room also had a grimy bathroom. Not even close the the first time I had stayed there. If you can stay somewhere else

I asked for a refund and left, the rooms were disgusting and smelled like mold. They had de-humidifiers plugged into lamps apparently in all rooms, I have never been to a hotel room that needed a dehumidifier. It also wasn’t working. Save your money!

The phone in the room had no markings on it to indicate how to reach the front desk. That is a safety issue. I had to look up my reservation email and call the number listed. However, no one picked up. It was 10pm and a dog was barking and keeping us awake. We were less than thrilled. Please fix the phone with a list of extensions and have your staff answer the phone. In an emergency your guests have no way to reach the desk for help.
