Secluded, quiet and very comfortable

I actually grew up in the area but no longer have anywhere to stay; you can't find a safer place than this area.

Let me first start off and say i should have listened to the reviews. This was my first time staying here and i was there with my family for the major league fishing event. Upon arrival the outside is very beautiful, now the inside is a different story the hallways are disturbing. We stayed in the suit building and didn't have hot water for our entire stay. The heat in the room ran non stop and wouldn't hold 72 degrees in the room. We ate at the resort and the food was wonderful, but clearly they are seriously understaffed. We sat in the dining area for over 20 minutes listening to the staff talk non stop and bs with each other. Finally I went to the front desk and he had to go see what was going on then told us to go sit at the bar which was across the main area. They had one server and she was working as hard as possible but couldn't keep up with everything. Our bill for 5 was over 100 with a very limited selection of food. I can't really say very many positive things about this resort other than the view and the walking path.

Don’t waste your money
Publié le 2 févr. 2024 sur HotelsNo hot water in shower for two days, multiple requests to front desk to have it fixed. Was told that it works but it is just finicky! One sink did not work at all, mold on door frames. No attempts from management to correct issues or offer to change rooms! Horrible property!

Once I read your review, I made an adjustment to your bill but since you booked a reservation through Expedia and they do not provide us with any information on the guests I had no way to contact you. Check in was delayed to 4PM. Property is near the lakeshore with beautiful golf course adjacent to hotel. Hotel is very nice but key amenities are lacking: no microwave in the hotel room forces purchase of expensive resort snacks and meals. Significant drive to external restaurants or grocers stores. No WIFI reception. Cell phone service is slow depending on carrier. TV cable service is limited selection and some stations blacked out by the provider. If you don’t need thise amenities, this would be a great place to relax.
