Located on the 5th floor, suite 512 has been recently UPDATED. It has beautiful marble floors throughout. The new flooring was finished in October of 2022. This unit is fully stocked and it is the closest to the pool area. The garage is also a quick elevator ride to your unit. Unlike the majority of the units at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort, this unit has its own landscaped large PRIVATE patio, literally steps away from the pool and pool bar. Take a look at one of the posted pictures for a visual image of the large patio. Just open your small patio gate and you will be about 25 feet from the pool area.

The fifth floor, where my unit is located, is where the resorts’ garden terrace is located. It is fully landscaped so it gives you a sense of being on the ground floor. It is difficult to picture it and to appreciate its beauty unless you are there.

To get to the ground floor/beach, take one of the elevators. The elevators open up to a beautifully landscaped path that will take you to the beach.

Marco Beach Ocean Resort is a luxurious, all-suite, beachfront, boutique resort on the white sand of Marco Island. My unit faces the sunset, which you can enjoy from your large private patio. There is no view of the water from my unit.

This suite has a new king size bed with a comfortable firm mattress and new linen. It also has a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room with new linen as well. There are 2 tvs in the condo, a full size stove and microwave. There is also a new small refrigerator with a separate freezer. If you need ice, you could simply walk down the hall from my unit to the ice room. There, you will have access to an ice-maker machine with all the ice you may need.

This units comes fully stocked with all the cookware, glassware and bakeware you need for your vacation. Utensils, a blender, a toaster and a coffee maker are also included. It has a granite countertop.

There is a trash shoot behind a door located in the hall, just a few doors down from my unit. When your garbage bag fills up, walk it here please. Thank you

My unit has a LARGE classy marble bathroom. The walls in the shower and bathtub are tiled in marble. The lavatory has granite countertops. I provide you with 7 large bath towels and a couple of hand towels. All are good quality towels. Also, there are 4 beach/pool towels, a large newer Tommy Bahama beach umbrella and 2 newer beach Tommy Bahama chairs for you to enjoy.

Private garage parking is included for free. You will be parking in the owner’s area of the garage (2nd floor). Wireless Internet and cable-tv are also included for free.

The resort has several amenities to include Gym, full-serviced Spa, heated swimming pool and hot tub, pool chairs, umbrellas at the pool, private beach access path. Also included is the beach front grill (near the sand) amenities. They serve great food and cocktails. Come here for a salad or a sandwich.

There are several restaurants available within walking distance. Some are fancy and expensive. Others aren’t. Try our beach bar with great salads, sandwiches and drinks.

One of the most beautiful and classy restaurants in all of Marco Island (Sale e Pepe) is located at our resort. Sale e Pepe is an award-winning 5-stars, fine Italian restaurant. It has great food, fancy drinks, a great wine menu, spectacular art pieces and classy ambiance. It makes you feel like you are in Italy. Sale e Pepe faces west. The sunsets are truly spectacular from here. You can see the ocean from its terrace. For a spectacular view of the beach while dinning, request an outside table.

Your other great options for nice restaurants are all walking distance, within the JW Marriott, located two hotels over. You can choose from elegant and expensive to beachy and reasonably priced. They have12 diverse food and beverage restaurants that will certainly inspire your palate and take you on a global culinary experience. You can access these restaurants via the sand or the sidewalk located on the front of the hotel. My favorite restaurant - aside from our on-premise Sale e Pepe Italian restaurant- is located at the JW Marriott. Its name is Ario and it offers great dry-aged steaks and fresh seafood. Their wine menu is enviable. Open only for dinner.

This was a joke. Huge Bait and Switch! This place was under heavy construction. As soon as we got to the property we were shocked with the heavy sounds of heavy machinery. The walkway to the entrance had huge dumpsters with actual debris being discarded while you try to navigate and not get hit with construction debris. The green paradise views and private backyard were a huge construction project with a posted sign stating "CONSTRUCTION AREA DO NOT ENTER."Dead bugs on the floor of the unit because of course it's under heavy construction! I walked right out of this unit and immediately left and had to find a different location to stay for the week.The host stated there was construction and the pool would be closed but never showed a single picture of how the place looked and was not transparent to the magnitude of the construction.The host went radio silent and has ignored every message I sent the day of check-in and still has not replied back. I waited 11 days for a reply back from the host and still no message. I will dispute the charges to my credit card and will make a formal complaint to VRBO.Very Shady Host!

This stay was horrible. First we were told less than a week ahead of coming that the pool was closed and the 'large' patio he boasts was not accessible. Upon arrival the whole complex was under construction. Drilling and hammering started at 8am and lasted until 8pm. The noise was so loud we had to leave early. I contacted the owner many times to no avail, no refund, no consideration. HORRIBLE OWNER AND HOST...DON'T RENT FROM HIM

Pool was under construction - I was made aware of this and I understand. What I was not aware of was the fact that we did not have access to the outdoor space as that was part of the construction. All plants and furniture were removed and it looked like a construction zone. We also had to walk a considerable distance to get to our car because the elevator that goes directly to the garage was part of that construction area and was closed. You would think that there would have been a discount. The room was fantastic though. Ice machine on our floor was not working.I'm pretty easy going, but I can't give an excellent rating.

I booked this trip in March. I gave up ocean views because the photos on the listing were absolutely gorgeous! One of the pictures shows green grass, palm trees in planters and flowers and it’s captioned “your large private patio (the heated pool is immediately across from it)”. There’s another picture with a beautifully kept courtyard that’s captioned “5th floor courtyard where my unit is located. My unit faces the pool.”I coincidentally received an email on May 27 (exactly one day after the last day to request a 50% refund, and of course way to late to request a full refund) that stated “the hotel exterior is undergoing a necessary restoration and preservation project through November 2025”. Further down in the email it gives me all the details about the temperature of the heated pool, and says how he is not responsible for pool or spa malfunction. It says in case of said malfunction the pool at The Eagles Nest is available to guests to enjoy free of charge. What that email should have stated was that the pool was in fact being completely torn out! It should have stated that any and all signs of greenery had been ripped out and all that remained was piles of dirt, and debris and the patio was completely unusable! Table and chairs removed! It was a complete shock when I walked in to discover this mess outside the patio door and bedroom windows! Vacation ruined! Marc did not respond until I contacted VRBO! See below for his listed photos compared to current photos!

Relaxation at its best

This was our first time visiting Marco Island. We have nothing but wonderful experiences. We will be back. The room was conveniently located just steps from the pool. The owner was over the top fabulous to us. I highly recommend this unti for 2 people wanting to just relax and enjoy the resort.

Not a good experience. Not as advertised.

This property was advertised as a resort yet all of the amenities were CLOSED during our stay. No spa, no gym, no restaurant was available. We chose this Resort because the owner advertised the amenities of the resort, cleanliness of the room, Beach chairs included, and valet parking.NONE Of these were available! Upon arrival we had to clean our room. I have photos to prove it. We had two washcloths for an entire week of stay. Only one beach chair was there and it was broken. We ask the Resort to accommodate us with more towels and washcloths as we did not have enough for a week stay. They stated that that was the owners place to provide. There was nowhere to wash any towels and washcloths to make them last for the week. We had to go and buy towels, Washcloths, and beach chairs. We had flown in for this trip so therefore we could not bring them back with us.The pool and hot tub closed daily before the sun even went down. The freezer Constantly thawed out and leaked all over our food in the refrigerator. There is a very little cookware and no large utensils to use. No grills on the property to use ( we ask staff and they said No). I do NOT RECOMMEND this place.
