Across the street from the Paisano, One block from the Courthouse, Margaret's, Garza Marfa, Communitie, Pronghorn, 6Whiskey, Frama, Aster, Ayn Foundation, and parts of JUDD and Chinati collections. The Saint George is just 2.5 blocks away! This craftsman style adobe has beautiful hardwood floors, full kitchen with 2021 KitchenAid range, modern bathroom with steam shower, full size laundry machines, 100 mpbs internet, Dish satellite, high end linens, and comfortable, stylish furnishings. The Downtowner has everything you need to have a fantastic time in Marfa. Rent our 2 bed, 1 bath sister property the West Texan #744032 right next door if you have a larger party but want your privacy!

Excellent experience in the heart of Marfa! This was our first visit to the town, and we could not have been happier with this property. Although Marfa is small, the location really does make it easy to get everywhere you want to go.The rental itself is also fantastic—Lauren was communicative and prompt. Easy check-in. Firm but comfy bed with high quality, poofy pillows (which we were so grateful for after staying in one too many VRBOs in the past that had sad, flat pillows). In the living room, great couch and also a great comfy lounge chair that replaced the two very simple chairs in the photos. The kitchen had everything you need, except no dishwasher but we were ok with that. Omg and I almost forgot the steam shower— it felt amazing, especially after a long day hiking around Big Bend Ranch State Park. Great hot water that stayed consistent temp and nice water pressure in the shower. We visited with our two dogs, and it’s important to note that even though this unit does not have access to the backyard, there is a very small fenced side yard off the kitchen. However, our dogs are well behaved and we actually let them out in the front lawn to potty and just kept a close eye on them.We cannot recommend this place more!! Book it. You won’t be sorry. We hope to come back someday with friends and book this unit and the one right next to it. Thanks again Lauren for everything!

We visited after Xmas and really loved the simple string of lights because the street was dark at night (tho very safe). I think a nice set of warm white string lights would be nice year-round for ambience.

The property is right across the street from the historic Hotel Paisano.

The kitchen had everything I needed, so did the bathroom. This was a very comfortable stay for me and when I come back to Marfa, I want to stay again. Wonderful gift shops nearby and plenty of places to eat.

We stay at many rental properties around the country, and this is one of our favorites due to its location, cleanliness, and comfort. The bed and pillows are comfortable and fitted with crisp, clean sheets and duvet. The rain shower is spacious and wonderful. The kitchen has every appliance imaginable for whatever way you like to make coffee. Everything works, everything is comfortable. It was my third stay at this property and I’ll definitely book it for my future Marfa visits.

The furnishings were high quality and comfortable. The steam shower was wonderful. Linens were luxurious and the kitchen had all the amenities. The location was ideal, just across the street from Jett’s Grill and many shops. Parking was easy and the host was quick to respond. Highly recommend the property and host!

Charming Casita, convenient location

The Casita had everything we needed to be comfortable and was decorated in a lovely manner. It is right across the street from the Paisano hotel and a short walk to downtown Martha and coffee shops and all that Martha has to offer.
