Clean rooms, excellent communication with host, easily accommodated last minute requests. Even had a pizza party with 13 additional guests. Family was fantastic. Did I mention the views? Absolutely beautiful views.
Perfect location for our group of 9! The property is beautiful and the views are stunning. We had a pizza making class at the villa and it was a highlight of our 10 day trip through Italy! Great communication with helpful tips on where to eat, shop, etc. Would love to come back!
We had an amazing stay at the Villa! We were there mid-May, 3 adult couples, our first time to the Amalfi coast. Plenty of space for everyone & the amount of space in the house itself was way more than enough. Lots of different areas for everyone to hang out inside but the outside was really the best space because the views are just incredible. Unfortunately it rained for a lot of our stay but we took advantage of every minute outside that we could. Our hosts (the entire family) were all so attentive, responsive, & really helpful in organizing excursions & transportation for us & making sure we had everything we needed. They all played some role in the experience but Umberto was our main point person and he was incredibly fast in responding to any questions and always offering to help us with any need. We did the pizza night on the day we arrived and it was definitely the best part of our stay at the Villa. The whole family really made the evening so much more than we expected & it was perfect after a long day of traveling. We ate dinner in town a couple of nights but probably would have preferred to enjoy dinner at the villa outside if the weather was better. We had an issue with power in 1 room and they immediately fixed it. The shower in the hall bathroom had a leak which they also addressed. I canât say enough good things about our stay and the villa but also, the family truly made us feel so welcomed and as though we were part of their family.
We really enjoyed our time at Villa dei Golfi. The location and views are spectacular. The house had plenty of room for our extended family of seven people. We especially enjoyed walking into the small town for dinner and sampling the local restaurants. The owner arranged a boat tour of Capri for us as well as a van trip along the coast to Amalfi and Positano. Both trips were great. We highly recommend this house!
We loved staying at the Villa. The views are fabulous! The Villa is very comfortable and easy for an adult family to share the space. The outdoor area was wonderful! The town of Sant Agate is wonderful! Great restaurant, cafes, and bars without the crowds of the popular towns on the Amalfi. Walking to the town is 5 minutes top and very easy.
Highly recommended!!!
Villa dei Golfi was such a beautiful and magical place to celebrate my 60th birthday with our family! The view is just stunning! We loved hearing the church bells ring nearby will enjoying the peaceful backyard, and that view! Our adult children along with brothers and sisters all enjoyed the villa with us and everything that came along with it⊠pizza school and boat trip to Capri with Umberto, our driver, Salvatore, who drove us all wherever we needed to be and sweet Sveva who greeted us and answered any and all questions we might have. This team is so awesome and make you feel completely at home and cared for like dear friendsâ€ïž Put your trust in them. They will not let you down.
10/10 would stay again!
The house is wonder, had an outstanding view over the town and bays. Very well appointed both in maude and outside. How was very responsive at all times and offered to assist with making arrangements to visit Caprice/Amalfi Coast. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
We had an amazing stay at Villa dei Golfi. Salvatore was incredibly communicative and helpful for the entirety of our trip. They checked in on us and made the experience memorable. Make sure to ask about Pizza school at the Villa - highly recommend!
Villa Dei Golfi is an truly stupendous villa.
My family and I could not have asked for a better place to stay during our trip to Italy.
Sant'Agata is a true gem of a small Italian village. The villa was incredibly clean, well maintained and comfortable! The views from almost every vantage point on the property are simply breathtaking. The pictures online do not do Villa Dei Golfi justice. You must visit and stay in this fantastic home to fully realize its true beauty.
Thank you to Salvatore (our host), Salvatore (our driver), Signora Rosa and Roberto for their amazing kindness and hospitality.
We are already looking forward to returning.
Our family stayed here for a week and it was the absolute best! The beds are SO COMFORTABLE (no springs) and there is air conditioning which was such a nice luxury since most places (even stores and restaurants donât have air conditioning). Our family like to sleep in the cold so it was amazing and relaxing after a day full of activities. The showers never ran out of hot water and the water pressure was amazing. The VIEWS! Wow it was breathtaking and pictures really donât do it justice. The home is in a beautiful small town 20 minutes from Sorrento and it was great to have a quiet relaxing place to sleep. The town is so charming and even have Michelin star restaurants BUT the BEST food we had our entire 2 week vacation including our time in Tuscany was with their pizza cooking class for the family at the Villa. Wow. Just absolutely delicious and the kids had a great time making pizza from scratch with a Pizzaiolo. They played authentic Italian music and being in the privacy of our own place and making countless pizzas it was absolutely worth booking with them. This was not only the best pizza we had but the best food we had our whole trip. I will definitely be back with the family and make this a summer tradition. Thank you for the amazing time and unforgettable memories my family and I made.
Highly recommend that you stay at Villa dei Golfi!
If you're looking for a villa to stay in on the Amalfi Coast, I would highly recommend that you consider Villa Dei Golfi. We selected this villa based on a thorough evaluation of the options, and we were thrilled the choice.
It's a beautiful house, completely renovated and new inside. We had 10 people, and there was plenty of space to enjoy our experience.
In addition to having enough room to accommodate 10 of us, our key criteria were:
1. Views
2. Walking distance to a town
3. Relative proximity to key Amalfi tourist destinations
Based on these criteria, this villa is perfect. (1) The views are amazing. (It was a bit chilly for us to spend time outside on the grounds, but the views were still amazing). (2) The town of Sant A'gata is charming and delightful - there are a number of excellent restaurants and shops within a 5-10 minute walk of there villa. (3) The location of the villa means that key destinations like Sorrento and Positano are a relatively short drive away.
Our host, Salvatore and his family took great care of us. Salvatore helped us organize our entire visit to the Amalfi Coast. He also connected us with his friend and colleague (also named Salvatore) who became our driver and tour guide for our stay. When our cooking class was canceled because of windy conditions, Salvatore's family arranged for us to have a true Amalfi home-cooked meal at the villa!
All together, a wonderful experience!
This is a super place in SantâAgata above Sorrento, Magnificent views of gulf of Naples/Vesuvius and the gulf of Salerno is also visible. The property feels like new and luxurious. The manager was very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were new and clean, though the hot water did not work in one room and in another it would come and go. We worked around it so it was a small feature that can be corrected. And the rest of the villa was a dream, if you want to be outside of Sorrento.
a tip: we found Sorrento Parking to be excellent if you need to stash your vehicle.
The two nuisances in our stay were that the owner provided only a one-person coffee maker for a house that sleeps 8! Weird. Also, the cutting knives were poor quality, which again seemed strange considering that the rest of the house was first class.
Above all, though, waking up in this villa and coming home to it were pleasures.
We were in Italy for six weeks, and this was by far my favorite stay. I wish we couldâve stayed here the entire time. What a gorgeous property! I absolutely adored it.
Itâs a bit of a pain to get down to Sorrento, but we found a taxi driver we liked who ended up being our driver for the week pretty much. We also tried the bus but after one particularly miserable trip without AC, we stuck to taxis from then on out.
The little town was a 5 minute walk, and the people there were the sweetest. I would stay here again every year if I could.
We loved this home! Such a lovely setting with a view that was fantastic day and night! Sorrento was not far in the car to go visit and shop and go out of the marina. But the local village town was
such a pleasant surprise, with an easy walk to many fine restaurants and coffee spots! We loved this. The home was in perfect shape and very well maintained. We also enjoyed eating outside in the lovely open dining area and we enjoyed the refreshing cooling pool and deck chairs to relax in. This is a very spacious home and could easily handle 8 people. Security was great and we felt completely relaxed during our time. Would strongly recommend this home! Lovely property mgmt. team also!
