Enjoyed our stay at 3rd Street Inn, McCall, Idaho

One night stay at 3rd St. Inn in McCall, ID. Chosen because of previous reviews. It did not disappoint. Nothing flashy, just a clean hotel in a convenient location with very helpful staff and an above average breakfast. Would gladly return.

Horrible Check In

I called this location the day before arriving to confirm our reservation, I asked if it would be possible to check in early and I was told we could check in at noon. We arrived shortly after noon and was told abruptly by the Manager that we could not check in and they tell “everyone” that check in at noon is a possibility but not for the room we booked. I told her that if I was told that a noon check in was a possibility and not a guarantee then I would have arrived at 3pm. She had a list of excuses and did not take any responsibility for the miscommunication. I returned at 3pm to check in and was told by the same Manager that my room was not ready and I’d have to wait another 30 minutes. She was not apologetic and left without informing the staff that I was waiting in the lobby to be able to check into my room. I waited patiently and was finally able to get into my room at 4pm. The service at the front desk was horrible and the Manager did not represent herself like a manager should.

Marie, all in all thank you for staying at our hotel and for pointing out our flaws during your check-in process. We never guarantee early check-ins, however we will always try. I hope you understand that when guests leave at 11am or even later, it makes it somewhat difficult to do noon check-ins. I will apologize for the miscommunication and mishandling of your check in. We do strive to have all rooms ready by 3.
