No lifts to actual floor intially is apalling... Steep stairs make it very very diffucult with luggage. Twin room beds are pathetic. Way way to small in this day and age.

I remember this hotel from the early 60’s as it and the Savoy were favourites back then with western district residents looking for affordable overnight accommodation in the big smoke! vast improvements since but still relatively modest and affordable

Sink was loose and if you barely lent on it, it felt as if it was going to fall off. Other amenities in the room we're either worn, broken or breaking. Bathroom was also really quite tight and hard to move around in as well as the shower took roughly 5-6 minutes to get hot.
