Definition of budget accommodation. Dirty ceiling and curtains. Sides of the bed different heights. 1 glass and 2 cups. No cutlery. Noisy Air con only on and off with wall switch and no controls. Limited parking. Noisy and linen piled up in walkway to reception.

I liked the fact that the poor guy on reception (who told me that all of the rooms were in the same condition) did not hesitate in getting my room payment returned to me when I refused to use the room. The carpet was exceptionally dirty and had not been vacuumed. It was lifting from the skirting in most places. The furniture was badly damage with large wood chips missing from it. the timber finish had turned white. The bed was is such a state that we would not consider sleeping on it. There was a very strong musty smell of mold within the room, The condition of the room was NOTHING like the room or any of the rooms displayed on their site. We had just returned from overseas and I was embarrassed to think that an overseas visitor may think that this is the norm in Australia.

Unfortunately there is nothing positive to be said about this property. They should have paid me to stay there. The room had not been cleaned. There was food and empty drink bottles in the kitchen cupboards from previous guests. The drinking glasses were filthy. The carpets were wet in patches (right near our heads next to the bed) due to mould so had to breathe that in as we slept. Smoke alarm had been cut off the wall and not replaced so wires were hanging out the wall. The bathroom had not been updated from what seems like the 80s I only wish I could add photos to this review because you could not understand how bad it was unless you saw it. When I complained about how filthy the room was they said they didn’t have anyone to clean it. My husband and I had to go to Coles and buy cleaning products just to make it minimally liveable for our children. Sketchy people also lurking around the building. You might ask why did we stay and not leave? It was Taylor Swift weekend in Melbourne and every where else was booked out. When my husband went to complain a second time they offered to discount our rate by $50 for the first two nights and then move us to a better room on the second two nights. We asked to view the second room first and it was a room no bigger than my lounge room with a queen bed, double bed and single bed all squashed in for the four of us. We originally had two rooms and two bathrooms. NEVER NEVER stay here. They don’t care about anything but taking your money.

Did not, could not stay. Prison cells are cleaner, smell better and feel safer. Lasted under 10 minutes in the room and needed two days to forget the smell of mould and who knows what else. Absolute joke how they can stay in business.
