Most cars can travel with ease around the mountain and the surrounding areas.

There is no public transportation.

➀ Starter kitchen and bathroom essentials are provided, but guests will need to supply disposables and restock items for the duration of their stay.
➀ Pets allowed with $50 fee per stay. Max 2 dogs under 60 lbs (pre-approval for larger). No cats or aggressive breeds. Keep pets off furniture, clean up after them, and crate if left alone.
➀ Exceeding maximum occupancy is not permitted.
➀ No third-party bookings (must book under your own account).
➀ No parties, events, smoking, vaping, marijuana use, or open flames (candles, incense, sage).
➀ Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm. Please keep noise to a minimum.
➀ We offer 4 kayaks and 3 canoes for rent. Kayaks are $25 each, and canoes are $35 each. 1. Cancellation Policy for Direct Booking Long-Term Reservations (30 days or more):

‱ For reservations of 30 days or longer, a separate cancellation policy applies.
‱ Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel at least 30 days before the scheduled check-in date.
‱ A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to the scheduled check-in date.
‱ No refund will be provided for cancellations made 13 days or fewer before the scheduled check-in date.

2. Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement/check-in form that you are required to sign and return before your arrival.

3. If you are local and / or under the age of 23 please notify us before making your reservation.

4. We will charge a small, non-refundable damage waiver fee to cover any potential accidental property damage during your stay. This fee replaces the traditional security deposit.

5. We would like to inform you that for direct bookings, a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow the platform`s cancellation policy.

6. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud.

7. No parties or events allowed.

8. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible.

9. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.

10. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund.

11. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 10:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them.

The house layout was perfect for our family and 2 friends. Kitchen had most everything we needed but some of the pans could stand to be replaced. Didn’t feel as clean as we would have preferred coming in, but we just was just washed the dishes before using.Only problem we had was couldn’t figure out turning on gas log fireplace, but it didn’t affect our enjoyment. Brought our 4 daughters and son-in-law with 2 boyfriends, so 4 spacious bedrooms and 4-1/2 baths worked perfect for us. Went hiking, enjoyed hot tub, played lots of games and my SIL took his kayak out on water. Already discussing another trip back.

Everything was spot on. Home was in great shape. Best place we have stayed in Mentone. One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed with. Travelers over the next couple of months should be aware of construction at the new cabin being built on site. That does impact the privacy but they were polite and not overly loud. They worked with us as much as they could on their hours and the noise. The views are great, privacy (other than as noted) is unbeatable and whole home is as described. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is pretty well equipped (important in Mentone as there are only 2 or 3 restaurants. All in all, this place is just the best.

Absolutely wonderful place. The host was amazing to deal with. The creek was wider than pictured so everyone could play. The rooms were spotless. I would recommend this unit.

This is an absolutely beautiful property! There was something for everyone. Well stocked, extra blankets small fans, plenty of towels and kitchen necessities. Communication was excellent! We couldnt ask for anything better.
