Nice break

The decor beyond the reception/bar area was a little tired in places but would happily stay here again

terrible hotel.
Not suitable for frequent travelers who are concerned about sleeping in clean rooms with proper sheets , without holes , tears and stains. This place is Disgusting

Location is good.
Room - basic but ok
Hotel public areas are dated and a bit shabby
Breakfast was appalling.
Dinner was delicious but Wine served with dinner was not the bottle chosen and waiter said nothing, just opened and served the bottle. Dinner service was very slow
Approached for cash whilst eating outside. Quite a few suspicious people around outside the hotel.. Would use again if no alternative with parking available.

A better then average Mercure in Metz
Posted Nov. 19, 2019 on HotelsHotel is well situated and close to train station - staff is super helpful and breakfast was fine. Only complaint is that the restaurant was not open on Sunday night but room service was luckily.
