Very nice hotel most important to us it was very clean. (Gracias Angelina, la senora que limpio el cuarto) enough space to put one's clothes and belongings while traveling, it made it easy to get ready. It is in the heart of Centro Historico so it is a lot of noise but, it is part of staying in a hotel that is close to so many attractions.

Room was spick and span, the only plus point besides the location. Corridor noise was so bad that on the first night I got a shock while in the bathroom because the voices were so clear I thought someone else had entered the room! As a result I had little to no sleep at night, and catching some sleep in the day was impossible because of renovation noise, I heard hammering non-stop from 10 am to about 5 pm for at least one of the days. And maybe as a result of the renovation, brown water with black residue started gushing from the tap and shower. Thankfully the discolored water went away after a while, but the black residue was an intermittent problem so I had to always collect and check water quality with a glass. To top everything off there was one night where my stay overlapped with something like 50-60 middle or high school kids on a school trip. My room was right next to the terrazza where bunches of them gathered at night so you can imagine how that went for me. I don't think I've ever been so glad to be home after a vacation!

Overall, this was a good deal. It's right in the center of Centro Historico, so easy walk to a bunch of sites, food everywhere nearby, etc. Room was fairly modernized, with a nice big shower and modern bathroom, comfy beds, good safe. The challenge was that the hallways are alive, and although we couldn't hear other *rooms*, we were constantly hearing all the screaming and joking and yelling and singing in the hallways. Hard to blame the hotel for that, since it's the guests, but consider it if you're a light sleeper. Still, overall we were very happy

The staff is excellent - friendly and professional. The street noise was loud at night. Also, cooling system also was loud. Otherwise great location with so much to see nearby.
