Warm and Inviting

Where to watch Marlins Baseball
Posted Apr. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayAbsolutely wonderful, the host is very attentive to every detail from booking to check out. One block from Marlins ballpark in an historic district. Close to ethnic restaurants and other attractions.

Our Miami Oasis
Posted Feb. 1, 2024 on HomeAwayVery unique and delightful home in Little Havana just north of the ballpark. Beautiful gardens and so much interesting items and curios all over the house. Ines was the most gracious, caring and warm host. She always had the insider info on sights to see, places to park and especially the best places to eat and listen to music. And her breakfasts were always the best - just what we needed to start our day of sightseeing. Some airplane noise but rarely an issue and I am a very light sleeper. The house was very centrally located and it usually took us less than 20-25 minutes to drive to most major locations, including Vizcaya, South Beach and Wynwood. A quick 10 minute Uber ride to Little Havana restaurants and bars.

My wife and I loved our stay. Our host was gracious and generous, making us feel very welcome and comfortable. Expect a unique and memorable experience. We can’t wait until our next visit!

Thank you Robin ! I am sorry about the AC, I changed to a NEST thermostat and I confess that the installer programmed it and I totally disagree ! So I am studying ( its like going to college) to re program it .. or maybe I will just call them !! :-i do ask all of my guests to let me know what they need, want, require and I am just a text away …. If I know , I can fix !!

Ines was so nice and made us breakfast each day and gave us amazing advice about Miami and how to navigate the city. The nicest lady ever and an enjoyable and memorable stay :)

Great host
Posted Mar. 4, 2023 on HomeAwayThe accommodations were as described and Ines was a great host with suggestions for activities and restaurants. Breakfast was very good. There is some airplane noise due to proximity of MIA, but it didn't interfere with our stay. For future guests, if you are coming in from the west on 836 when you exit stay to the right to head south on NW 17th Ave instead of proceeding to NW 15th Ave. You'll appreciate the stoplights at the intersection of NW 17th Ave and NW 7th St to make your left turn.

Ohhhh I so love your very accurate and to the point instructions !! Thank you for staying , and to all of you …. The Miami International Airport is right on the center of the city so one way or another you are going to get the noise of airplanes …. But yes, we have a beautiful old house with the original windows (even some of the glass is old) and therefore less insulated than in properties with hurricane windows:-)

Absolutely great.
