The hotel was making a few renovations but that made sense for the summer. We requested adjoining room and did not get them, the pool closed unexpectedly on our last day and the bar by the pool seemed to be closed the first few days we were there. However, the value for the price here has been great for many years. A nice hotel on the beach, with good food options, a gym, and a reliable valet cannot be beat for this price. The staff also do a great job to help when possible.

Very family friendly. We opted for the breakfast since there wasn’t many restaurants around. Beach setup with towels, chairs, umbrellas, was an added bonus.

Pros: location location location. Rate was more than fair. Pool and beach area were amazing. Rooms were clean and very comfortable beds. Staff was friendly- especially the breakfast staff who were outstanding. Loved that the beach chairs and umbrella rental were included in the room rate. Made finding a spot on the beach to relax so much less stressful. Convenient to shops and restaurants and the boardwalk. Cons: breakfast is expensive ($35/pp+tip) and it is only basic continental breakfast that most hotels offer for free (powdered eggs, muffins, cereal etc). Check in guy at the welcome desk was mildly rude and pretended to be busy until another staff member prompted him to help us.

I didn’t like how expensive it is, and how you have to beg for towels. We asked to clean our room, and they didn’t. Late that evening we saw a housekeeper, and told her. She ended up coming change the bed.

Overall this property is okay. Location…spot on with direct access to the beach. Unfortunately we were overcharged significantly upon check in with a hold being placed on my credit card for the duration of our trip. We brought this to their attention on several occasions and was told nothing could be done until checkout. This was a huge mistake on a check in clerks Inn and we felt as though something should have been done to correct the issue immediately and that wasn’t done. Will we return to this location? probably not as there are other nicer hotels along the beachfront that are for sure will value our patronage in resolving significant errors immediately. As far as the dining options very limited, however, the breakfast did have a very good breakfast buffet other than that that was about the highlights of food. The rooms were nice. The beds and pillows were nice, but that hotel is outdated. You could tell that they have not upgraded things in a while that need me

Management was not accommodating to other names booked on the booking, very inconvenient as they weren’t allowed to check in until the primary name was present. Said it was a company policy as that is not how other Holiday Inns operate. They ended up waiting 5 hours in the lobby until we arrived, after a long trip to get there. Not a pleasant experience, and no empathy from the manager Cindy, even though they are full grown adults, not Spring Break students. Won’t be coming back to this hotel.

The location is great and staff are nice, but the rooms are pretty beat up. We don’t regret staying there (especially at the great price we paid) but wouldn’t stay there again.

The service was good. They were able to get us checked in early. However, the air conditioner did not work in the room. The room felt almost as hot as outside. We were unable to sleep due to it being so uncomfortable. The maintenance worker said they would attempt to fix it but we never heard from them again. We did contact the hotel.
