I stayed at this property for five weeks in order to have time close to my daughter who is a student at UMiami. Upon check in, the floors were dirty and I found trash (tampon wrappers, etc.) in the bathroom drawer. The shower in the primary is tiny, almost impossible to use. The kitchen was so poorly outfitted that I ended up buying: trash bags, dish towels, plastic mixing bowls, Tupperware, cutting boards, tin foil, plastic wrap, dishwasher pods and paper towels. The front shade was broken when I arrived and the kitchen sink backed up due to a grease clog on day three; after a dozen calls to management, both were fixed. I asked for a cleaning halfway through my stay of five weeks and was told if I wanted a cleaning, Iâd have to pay for it myself. I called VRBO and the owner agreed to send a cleaner but in the end, nobody showed. My attempts to contact the management company didnât get me satisfying results. The one bright spot and the only reason Iâm giving this property *any* stars is the pool and backyard, which are lovely. The neighborhood is mediocre to look at, although it was close to coconut grove, so that was good. Overall, it was not worth the price per night in my opinion.
