It was ok. Just ok. When checking in the staff member was either tired or it had already been a day, but they were not terribly welcoming or enthusiastic. There was nothing wrong with the process but nothing great about it either. The room was ok. The fold out couch was honestly uncomfortable as a couch. The bed was ok, could of used a couple more pillows on a king size bed but it was adequate. The bathroom was a joke, the toilet was the lowest thing I have ever say on. The biggest issue was the extra blanket and pillow in the closet were obviously used and not washed. They were crumpled into the bag and there was obvious crumbs and hair on them. By the time it was noticed it was after midnight I just wanted to get to bed. This hotel is conveniently located near the Riverside theater where I was seeing a show. I would consider staying again for that reason, but would still look at other hotels in the area before I decided. Price wise it was not the most expensive, but also not the least. I honestly expected a better room and service for the price I was paying. The pictures of the room on hotels.com are a bit misleading compared to the quality you actually get. 3 out of 5, I've stayed in worse that cost more but I've stayed in better that cost about the same.

This is one go to hotel in Milwaukee. We have stayed here numerous times throughout the years but unfortunately this time was sub-par at most. They put us in a room where all we heard was stomping, noise, the water being turned on and off of whoever was on the floor. It was difficult to get sleep and relax when it felt like we heard every move from upstairs.
